    Outside of the kicking situation safety is by far the weakest position in the squad. They need to be looking to trade for a vet.

    I like it. That's probably why it won't happen.

    The addition of the DH has actually hurt the Brewers considerably. It's made our starting pitching have to work harder while we get almost the same production we were getting when our pitchers were hitting. I think the crews lead in the division would be bigger if the national league was still like it used to be without a DH.

    To me it looks like Turang has changed his stance and his footwork. Front foot staying straight to the pitcher with a slide instead of a lift. Seems to be quieter in the box and a much smoother looking swing.

    He was basically a mid-level utility guy and now that the NL has the DH the demand for utility guys has all but disappeared. Will be interesting to see if a different franchise can fix his mechanical issues at the plate.

    I'm glad they didn't do anything more than they did. You're not going to be able to turn over half your roster at the break and still go on winning and that's what it would have taken to get to a World series. Too many issues to address in too Short a time frame.

    Amen.....that's were I am at. Give him another shot but don't expect much. It's mostly a testament to how terrible the production has been at 1st and DH that He is even an option.

    Wonder if they fixed some of his mechanical issues? Like most of the hitters that came through the Brewer pipeline there was big problems with his front foot

    With the amount of money these guys get paid nowadays and the training and medical advice at their disposal there's really no excuse for being grossly overweight. Hell even pro golfers with a few exceptions are pretty fit these days.

    Current standings aside its the Cardinals division to lose.

    The Brewers have been hurt by the addition of the DH. Back in the day we had some of the better hitting pitchers and Our starters were good at getting some easy outs at the end of lineups that allowed for longer starts. Now the starters have to work harder and the Brewers cant find a decent DH to save their butts.

    I will never understand the big front leg lift. Leaves you vulnerable to velocity change and make catching up to high fastballs nearly impossible on a regular basis.

    If some miracle Brian Branch the safety from Alabama is available at 13 they had better not pass on him.

    Yea they really got dominated once they went up by 2. Kind of surprising considering all the high end talent they put on the ice.

    I guess I'm using Andy Reid as the measuring stick and MLF is light years behind him in my eyes.

    It's odd as it sounds outside of our special teams coach I have zero faith in this coaching staff. MLF might be the least creative offensive mind in football.
