Certainly can get you to the playoffs but living only on HRs doesn't win to many worlds series when facing elite pitching.

While i don't have stats to back it up i feel that the DH has hurt the Brewers more than helped them. Our pitchers were among the better hitting ones and other teams have added better bats at the DH than the crew. Now our pitchers have to work harder and it feels like other teams are able to shorten Brewer starts and the middle relief is just not very good.

While i agree it would probably be the best thing long term it would be really hard to justify while leading the division.

Do they keep a stat for % of runs driven in via the home run? If so the crew has to be pretty high on the list. Pretty much live or die with the long ball and that is why I cant see them going anywhere in the playoffs.

Feels like 2014 except they have better starting pitching but worse hitting.

I would not go that far....they still had to score off the Pirates closer and those odds were not good. The odds of winning this game dropped dramatically when the Pirates reached 4 runs.

It's one run game.....no reason to leave Suter in to face a right handed lead off. Poor management.

Some way some how they have to add a consistent run producer or you can forget winning anything of substance this year.
