  1. Respectable recovery by Burnes after a choppy start. Definitely more upside than Peralta.
  2. The Brewers explosive offense was too much for the servers to handle. Time to update the old commodore 64.
  3. my personal opinion is they have the worst collection of bench coaches in baseball right now.
  4. Classic case again of terrible swing path on a pitch down and in and you're trying to hit it like it's a tee shot. Flatten the swing out a bit and you got a chance.
  5. If you hit September 1st at five games under 500 you had better be a seller.
  6. Pina is 2 for 20 since his hot stretch and 1 game in 4 day vacation.
  7. You just know he's going to go somewhere and completely turning around and end up biting the Brewers in the ass.
  8. The only guy with a worse batting average this year is Stearns himself.
  9. Reynolds is going to be a Brewer killer for the next decade.
  10. Never thought I would see a Brewer regular that hit worse than Travis Shaw last year. Maybe Haines is the issue. Shaw looks better this year and Aguilar is also hitting well. Not sure if he is the issue but he sure isn't the answer.
  11. His bat path is terrible. Everything is an upper cut(excessive launch angle) no matter the pitch and location. Part of the reason Yelich struggled early was he had the same problem. If you want his swing lately its much more on plane and a lower finish( below the shoulder)
  12. I don't even have a clue where we could be put to get some protection. Garcia has been a bit better, as has Hiura, but Narvaez not being able to hit his weight has been really rough. They were depending on him to be on of the better bats in the lineup. Never thought I would see a Brewer regular that hit worse than Travis Shaw last year.
  13. That was not a strike. But I do think that was a swing on strike 2.
  14. I don't see it. The guy has a massive uppercut no matter where the pitch is. Elevate at all cost it's not the best way to break out of a slump.
  15. They like to flirt with getting no hit at least twice a week.
  16. The GIDP was still in play, but I would absolutely walk them loaded there for the force at home. Counsell has historically not done it that way, though. With the speed of Buxton on third base sure would have been nice to have been able to have a force at the plate instead of tag play
  17. Since when is getting squeezed for a walk in a tie game an automatic death sentence? I get the pessimism tonight, but sheesh. Edit: Um ... ha! Neener neener neener It was my reverse jinx effort.
