    I will say this freshman class is as good as advertised. There's some real goal scorers in that group.

    This year's team has a lot of talent, but the goalie situation... It's early but the defense looks as bad as last year. Definitely more talent but man they make some dumb plays in the open Ice.

    I think coaches should get two challenges with one of them being a super challenge that allows you to challenge anything called or uncalled. If you use the super challenge before the regular challenge you lose the regular challenge as well and even if you win the super challenge you do not gain another challenge.

    No I am with you, college OT is horrible. The NFL for its faults is still played like a regular game. Placing the ball at the opponents 25 and making it an arena football game is bad. My idea for NFL overtime would be like college with one exception. No kicks.....no FGs, no extra points. Every TD would be a try for 2 after.

    That was my question too. Obviously the refs were looking for it. It was a cheap call, but why even give the refs an opportunity to call it? Poor play from one of those vaunted "former Patriots" the announcers were all excited about. Except it wasn't a poor play. It was a perfectly legal play and it was a super bad call. It would be interesting to able to look at every previous pass rush buy him to see if he was consistently grabbing me inside of the shoulder pad in the neck area and it was something that the referees were looking for at the end.

    He's trying to get by an all-pro LT, not that easy to pick where you want to go. Yes he was holding onto the shoulder pad but he did make contact to the neck and face area with his knuckles

    This might be the worst Monday night tv guys in the history of Monday night football.

    You'd think the Packers would be looking around at players like this, players that could be had for a later draft pick on bad teams. I think Ogletree was projected as a 1st round pick before his final year at UGA...and for some reason ended up falling to like the 7th round. Like I've said though, there are some small tweaks that Gute should be making IMO to this team as the season goes on. Maybe Pennel isn't what he was with the Jets anymore so that's why they're not bringing him in, but they're at least looking around. That's encouraging IMO. He's by no means Urlacher but he was really all over the field in that game against the Patriots. Definitely a bit of a thumper as well.
