I would love to see the percentage of 2+ run innings this year vs last. And how they compare to the rest of the league. Seems like they give up crooked numbers more than just single tallys. That is were I think DJ shined. Seemed to have the right pitch sequence to get out of jams and limit big innings.

So much for picking up a game. Padres just gave up 3 on two bombs to tie it in the 8th at 8.

The ball was nearly on the other side of the batters box the pitch wasn't the problem. He just missed one in almost the same spot on the first pitch. His swing was geared for up and away.

Lets hope we never have use Pomeranz as a closer again.

Both were up and out of the strike zone. Just some lucky hits those pitches are normally outs. After the swing Prado put on the previous pitch in that location they had no business trying to get one past him there. It should have been a curve.....period.
