  1. I wonder how many more runs they would have scored this year if they were just average with risp.
  2. Nice to get an early start running up the misery count with RISP. Sitting at .238 worst in the NL by 12 points. 29th in the Mlb
  3. Down goes Nebraska in OT
  4. Not quite yet... It's certainly helping that some of the teams on the schedule do not look nearly as good a couple weeks into the season. Michigan doesn't look quite so daunting, Northwestern...plus, UW usually does not start out great. Winning is one thing, but blowing out teams they should beat gives you a little more confidence. And Baun looks like a monster. So far it looks like the DL is miles ahead of last years DL and Coan looks like a much better QB than what we had last year. There are still going to be a lot of tough games...but the feeling has to be a lot more positive based on some individuals really improving or looking good to start the season. Agreed....Coan by himself makes a huge difference.
  5. About the only complaint I have in this one is the offensive line is not generated much movement in the Run game. Pretty solid pass blocking though.
  6. Not quite yet...
  7. Very well might take a 17 and 5 run to squeak into the playoffs.
  8. Good win. Avoid the undertaker for another day.
  9. 5 run lead in the eighth inning and we walked the leadoff guy. It's almost comical.
  10. Would probably make one hell of a slow pitch hitter.
  11. That will do. Tack on runs are always appreciated
  12. Any bets on whether we score with the second and third and nobody out?
  13. I have yet to figure out why so many guys come out of the farm system with messed up mechanics. Who are the others you are thinking of, besides the 30 year old joyrneyman catcher currently with his 7th organization in 10 professional seasons? Arcia Brinson Phillips Huira.'s mechanics are certainly not something you would teach a young hitter but he gets away with it due to ridiculously good hand-eye coordination. The best pure hitting mechanics of the team are Yelich by a mile and probably Grand ol would be next.
  14. I thought the exact same thing; I had to remind myself that wasn't a pitcher batting. I have yet to figure out why so many guys come out of the farm system with messed up mechanics.
  15. Freitas has a pretty ugly setup and swing.
  16. Yes considering neither of those were strikes.
  17. And with that performance this year's staff has officially given up more runs than all of last year including the playoffs. 692 this year 684 all of last year including playoffs.
  18. While better shortstop play would have been nice there are far far bigger issues with this team.
  19. Yes it was. And I'm normally bored by low scoring games.
  20. What was the last time the Packers won scoring only 10 points?
  21. He blasted that one.
  22. Need a turnover
