Under no circumstances should a young High School pitcher try and emulate Peralta. That is some really messed up mechanics.

I think a lot of his struggles tonight we're mechanics. No follow-through and way to vertical while almost falling off the mountain to the left. The last two pitches were his best deliveries of the night. Good balance and good follow through.

It's like some kind of reverse curse from last year where the Brewers scored in the first inning an inordinate number of times. This year they bleed multiple runs in the first inning way too often
