  1. I agree with giving guys that have been in the league a little bit some extra rope but Priesters so young and I just don't know that you want to push the envelope too hard yet.
  2. In this case it was less about pitch count and more about the fact that everything coming off the bat was a rocket including one off his glove. He was throwing some pretty fat ones and getting away with it.
  3. Murphy really has a poor feel for handling pitching staffs. Honestly you could have a magic 8 Ball and he probably be just as accurate.
  4. Still seems like he's got a loop in his swing that he didn't have most of last year. Remember his bat path being much flatter.
  5. Last year we sure seemed to be a lot better at being able to at least put balls in play with runners at 3rd and no one out
  6. Agreed approach wise he's probably worse but his mechanics are much like they were early last year where he didn't trust his hands and was flying open and overswinging at everything
  7. Chourio right now what's an awful lot like he did early last year. Massively overswinging with his head jerking around and falling backwards.
  8. That was a game saver because if the twins tied it Brewers were losing.
  9. Durbin's mechanics are a mess right now. Overswinging and front toe coming off the ground and falling backwards And needs to be a little more vertical. Too much squat.
  10. While it's too late to happen now Mr Google says there's never been a MLB game that ended 9 to 0 with the team scoring one run per inning for all nine innings
  11. I'm okay with them getting shut out a couple more times in a row if it will get the changes moving.
  12. I think it's largely 10 years of bad drafting and developing hitters. And most of the guys that put a big numbers in the minors are still flawed that get rapidly exposed by Big League pitching
  13. Wonder what the last time an MLB team won 9 to nothing by scoring one run in every inning?
