    Lethal??? Historically, the best hitters have the best bat speeds? Cherry picking won't hack it.

    Agree. Play him every day in spring training. SOMEWHERE. If the bat is NG, play him every day in the minors. SOMEWHERE. His last year to see if his bat proves worthy. No bat, no field--no trade value.

    Sánchez and Haase were "strong bats?" Also, how many teams carried three catchers? Lastly, if Quero pans out to be better than sliced bread, Contreras could slip to 1B. That was talked about prior to Quero's injury saving Contreras's legs. If both are studs, that's the best day to day lineup.

    Frelick: more power means more money. Swing changes follow. Chourio: any "needed adjustments" don't happen riding the bench no matter pitcher quality.

    After all the phenom hype--even at age 20--I expected more "wow" moments from him AB AND in the field. I sit with bated breath.
