    I'm posting the Brewers' MILB Spring Training Roster here. I've also noted a few absences which perhaps others can explain: Aaron Ashby, Tyler Gillies, Alec Kenilvort, Jose Sibrian, Luis Silva, Zane Zurbrugg, Keegan McCarville, Abimael Gonzalez, Wade Beasley.     Line-up for the first spring training game today (Brewers Biloxi Double-A club against the Dodgers): Mitchell, cf Turang, ss Lutz, dh Castro, 3b Henry, c Bello, lf Dillard, 1b Garcia, ss Perez, rf Brewers Player Development on Twitter has also posted the Spring Training schedule of all games from today through April 29th, as well as the entire camp roster of 132 players I'll try to post the schedule here: [attachment=0]MILB Spring Training Schedule - Brewers.jpg[/attachment]

    This Timber Rattlers video link has some excellent nuggets. From what I gather: - Manager mentions that High-A club just had its first full squad workout, so presumably pretty much all Low-A, High-A and Double-A players have reported - Double-A club will play first game on Wednesday this week - High-A, Low-A clubs will play first games on Thursday this week https://www.milb.com/wisconsin/news/arizona-check-in-with-matt-erickson-episode-5-back-in-maryvale

    Jake Cousins promoted from AZL Blue to Wisconsin. Nationals released the 20th round pitcher after 2 low-MILB seasons, so it’s the Brewers that give him his first shot in Class A. He’s already 25 and immediately becomes the oldest player on Timber Rattlers. Let’s hope his 2019 success at lower and independent levels continues. Scott Sunitsch promoted from Wisconsin to High-A Carolina. Great opportunity for lefty starting pitcher. Noah Zavolas placed on Carolina’s injured list. Hopefully it’s nothing serious, but he’s the third starting pitcher to go on the IL (with Ashby, Webb).

    The corresponding move for Whitmer joining the Mudcats is Aaron Ashby going to the injured list. Hopefully it’s just for some rest and not an actual injury.

    Tough loss for MLB team today. But in more uplifting news: - Corey Ray promoted from Biloxi to San Antonio, where he needs to be. Hopefully the OF is truly healthy now and can finish strong - Jon Olczak sent to Biloxi where he dominated pitching last year. Hopefully he’s also healthy now and can finish strong - Ryan Aguilar finally promoted from Carolina to Biloxi. He’s been Carolina’s top hitter this season. Plays mostly 1B and CF, which is a cool combo - Peter Strzelecki promoted from Wisconsin to Carolina. He was the oldest player on the Wisconsin roster and has decent pitching stats, so this needed to happen That last move officially frees up a spot at Wisconsin for 1st round 2019 draft pick Ethan Small, who’s scheduled to pitch there tomorrow

    Rodrigo Benoit promoted from A+ Carolina to AA Biloxi, thus filling one of the two spots vacated by the Cody Ponce trade (for Jordan Lyles) and Marcos Diplan DFA. Benoit will be a minor league free agent in about 2 months, so the promotion is good for him but meh for us. There’s still a possibility that Marcos Diplan could clear waivers and be outrighted back to Biloxi by Brewers, but it costs essentially nothing for a team with an open 40-man roster spot to claim him and immediately option or even re-DFA. Time will tell.

    Mudcats: C Nathan Rodriguez activated for first time this year. SP Braden Webb to 7-day IL. Shuckers: SP Johan Belisario to 7-day IL. Fellow SP Alec Bettinger activated from 7-day IL.

    I hope Mediavilla is okay. He was out most of May with an injury as well.
