    After dropping the first game of today’s doubleheader to Quad Cities, the High-A Timber Rattlers need a win in the home nightcap to avoid an 0-3 series hole. LHP Wande Torres (5.14 ERA, 1.64 WHIP, 11.6 K/9 in 14.0 IP) gets the start, while Luis Castillo, David Garcia and Luiyin Alastre join the lineup.

    The Low-A Warbirds are tied 1-1 in their home series against Salem, with 6’6” LHP Andrew Healy (6.2 IP, 10 R, 9 Ks in 6.2 IP) getting tonight’s start. DH Luis Lameda (.855 OPS in 50 PAs) is the sole Wilson player with an OPS above .700.

    Last year he seemed to lose his way throwing down to 2nd base after the High-A promotion or maybe he was just worn out: 70 steals allowed in 31 games. It’s obviously still early in 2026, but he’s only allowed 8 steals in 11 games thus far.
