One was a damn miracle. in a season of crazy wins that might have been the most unlikely. we will see them again at the end of the week.

I would rather go with Patrick who is a known quantity than gasser who hasn’t pitched for the team all year and then you throw him in a playoff series? I might be one of the few on here who actually likes Patrick as a pitcher. I’d be fine with him finishing the season out as a starter

Probably. But that’s college sports at this point. One thing is gard is really good at finding talent where nobody thinks there is any. It’s like with the brewers. You just have to trust them with their track record even if you’ve never heard of the guy football program not so much.

Yep. and btw if I had to bet my life or your life I would lay all my money down on the brewers taking the division. To be honest I don’t think you can even take bets on the cubs winning the division on any site I know the math But honestly do you want it to be 2-3 game lead going into next week I don’t Even though we still would be prohibitive favorites The cubs were going to start winning games The Phillies were going to start winning games They have good teams Let’s start winning games We have a good team too

No they haven’t. They gave us a chance to bury them. What’s crazy is they’ve actually gained on us. That’s how crappy we have been. Just don’t be crappy these last two weeks and we are fine

The cubs have like the third or fourth best record in baseball and have decided to play like it. It was coming at some point despite other people poo pooing it we better play good baseball from here on out period. They gave us a chance to bury them but we didn’t. If we fly out to San Diego and the magic number is four it’s on

And we have to fly out west next week? You can’t be ****** around thinking this is over. The cubs will decide if this over. If they win 5 or 6 games this week. It isn’t over. We need them to lose some games. We basically needed a miracle to win a series. The switch has been flipped off for awhile now
