    I n the grand scheme of things this wouldn’t be a horrible loss. But the way this played out it would be one of the bigger disappointments of the year the brewers have not played well in these three games. Thank god gasser gutted it out last night

    Vaughn doesn’t have the wow spectacular game a lot but he seems to do something good every game. He’s just consistent I think you are giving other teams a break by not playing Ortiz and Vaughn in the lineup. I don’t care what arm the pitcher throws with plus Ortiz is way better defensively than bunty. I mean what are we doing here

    May will be the only starter left on the schedule that you will expect to lose and be ecstatic if you win every other pitcher I expect to win

    I think if trade was with the Indians or Rockies I wouldn’t have cared as much

    The only way it’s useful is if Romero gets huge leverage outs in the postseason or may has to replace a starter because of injury etc and gets wins in the playoffs. I just don’t see how adding them changed the odds/outlook

    His first start was kind of lucky. That’s why the third start was more concerning. Then his next start the very first pitch he’s get lined almost off his forehead. I don’t know about the guy. like I said does or did he change our outlook at all when the change was made. I don’t think so. I think we are where we are now with or without him and he isn’t going to impact the playoffs imo

    I will never understand this trade for May. Like at all. Having him really did not change our outlook in the playoffs. It didn’t change our division or top two seed chances. (To be honest it might even lower them if he continues to pitch like he has). Romero might be useful but he still hasn’t thrown an inning and it’s been a month already i get prospect hoarding can be a thing but if you wanted to get rid of those guys maybe package them in the offseason for someone useful. it felt like a pure desperation move by the GM. Like he felt he had to do something. And with division rival. Ugh
