    To me this always made for interesting debate team a - All season they score 16 runs in game one and then zero on the next two and it repeats all three games for the rest of the season team b - scores 5 runs every game for the season. No more. No less the numbers say that team a is a better offense. But I would take team b’s offense over team a also should Chourio have hit a homer off the position player instead of batting left handed to make numbers look better or do some numbers don’t matter ultimately in the grand scheme of things.

    All the good players line Turang have grace periods. If they go into a prolonged funk people will get on them but no one will advocate for them to be benched. Same as Chourio Contreras etc Vaughn is in his grace period and will get ripped if it continues I just thought it was incredibly lame that people have been ripping about the whole right handedness thing and he was literally better than Yelich and frelick etc i didn’t waste my time looking at it before until tonight. It just seemed weird after an 0-4 game people came flying in with the hit and run I told you so posts. I didn’t know the whole Vaughn thing made people look bad or so salty I guess who cares ultimately. I think he can hit and was a good addition last year

    So you’re telling me all of this nonsense about Vaughn can’t hit righties and he was ahead of those guys anyways before tonight. Cripes sakes. So four at bats drops him 50-60 points. Yeah he isn’t playing enough.

    In baseball reference he’s got a .272 ba with a .718 ops. That probably doesn’t include today but that’s 4 at bats. Unless somehow those numbers aren’t right. There is a major disconnect here. He’s better than Yelich and frelick who are freaking left handed hitters

    Vaughn is better against right handers than Yelich is. Good lord now I’m ok if the brewers might not want to play him all the time because they still don’t know if his hand can take it. Does makes sense to rest EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE against righties But he’s still a better hitter than most of the players on the team

    The best thing about that Lara video wasn’t just how fast he was but how perfect his route was running the bases. That should be an instructional video for young kids those are the little things that win games. Plus being really fast.
