I get this take. But you could also look at this game and think, “huh, even a rebuilding team can run into some runs every once in a while, I bet Cincy isn’t going to just sleepwalk to a sweep in any of their series down the stretch.” Fine. Then they go 14-1. Whatever I don’t think people understand how bad these two teams are. This is not a normal under .500 baseball team. These are not major league caliber teams. Our 13 games against the cardinals are not going to be as easy with flaherty coming back. The brewers better win the next two.
