I really want to say good things about him but I don’t want to jinx. He has provided us with something over his years that a lot of our pitchers dont. I will let people guess

Carlton is one of the greatest pitchers of all time. I’m just talking like a very good pitcher like Stewart who would be the most valuable pitcher in today’s game in my opinion

I’d be ok with replacing Miz in the rotation at this point. We really don’t need a guy who is going to go 65 pitches and 3 innings with one inning being absolutely horrible. now maybe last game he found something where he doesn’t have to spaz out on every throw and be a little more composed. But if he’s terrible today figure out if he can do another role lets get back to back wins and have the guys start having fun again

Actually they don’t have as much as they had for sure. You can tell it in the interviews, the way they act in the field etc. it sure hasn’t looked like as much fun for them. Especially pissing your pants every ninth inning. They just need win like three games in a row and they will be fine they know blowing a nine game lead is pretty much a legendary choke.

Also another game where we don’t have endless pages about ball and strike calls. Thumbs up to everybody

Maybe uribe can find that closer mentality and then make Megill the 8th inning guy for awhile

Good news is that would have been an all time crushing blow after numerous others. They held on. But they need some damn confidence.
