  1. Whatever the stupid box on tv said it was a strike. However accurate that is People complain way to much about strikes and balls. Most of them are damn close. With two strikes swing the bat. Or take your chances of walking back to dugout
  2. People complain to much about strike calls. Swing the bat It wasn’t that bad of a call.
  3. Wow. A Robertson home run. Back in first place This team could use a couple of relievers. Obviously. Do we have anyone in the minors to call up or is Stearns going to have to make another move
  4. Of course winning matters. Scoreboard watching? Not so much. Dude No one is gnashing their teeth if Cubs/cardinals lose or win today. But it’s ok to follow them and all the rivals in the division. I don’t give a crap what date. Modern baseball fans are so freaking weird on how they like to tell people how to be a fan or the one way to play the game. It’s almost exclusive to this sport. It’s weird It’s probably one of the reasons why there aren’t as many casual fans anymore. Just hardcore dorks like us on a message board I mean if someone can’t take pleasure in a Cubs loss in may without the Brian Kenny types screaming about what matters than what’s the point My god
  5. And to think ... less than 48 hours ago, someone "called it like it was" that this team sucks. It's almost as if major league baseball seasons have ups and downs! The brewers record is probably better than they actually are. Peralta, burnes and woodruff will probably fall back some but their hitters can definitely offset that as they have been historically bad The good thing about Milwaukee is that the positions that could really help improve this team are probably the easiest to find. Productive third base first base and middle relievers This is a a massive two months. They really play a ton of winnable series. They can’t tread water. The nationals sweep was a great start The unknown factor is the brewers sure like their injuries. Let’s hope they can sustain their health for an extended period of time
  6. Nice sweep. Hope to see a few more of those this next couple of months
  7. If you sign a player and he ends up being the worst hitter in the league, the team should be able to recoup some of that money. Or at least give it to charity. And this Johnny depp commercial…..
  8. Why the heck can our infielders not throw That is insane for a major league team
  9. Looking at June and July schedule, the brewers really need to make a move
