This feels like you are trying to talk yourself into this at this point. It’s only over if the cubs say it is. If they lose a bunch of games against bad teams then yes. But if we have to rely on ourselves it isn’t over. We are just not good for awhile now. When was the last time someone got a big hit when we were behind. I don’t remember.

This year is so weird. If you would have told me that we would be celebrating another playoff appearance I would be ecstatic now. But this season is different after what has happened. The only celebration is if they get the bye imo. Anything else would be extreme regular season disappointment but if they go to World Series all would be forgotten
