  1. I think knebel not pitching one inning was the most important thing. But yes burnes being bad hurt too
  2. For sure. I just don't trust Thames as a long term answer at first. At the end of last year, it looked like he never saw a bat before in his life And shaw scares me more. But I guess they are a lot easier to replace
  3. I think we should have just stayed put this year and let the incumbents play better. But I guess in the overall scheme of things we haven't really given up anything. Maybe some of these pitchers will help significantly. I kind of doubt it but who knows
  4. Always liked Aguilar. Thought he had the makings of being a good hitter in this league and wasn't surprised at last year's performance. Too bad he fell apart this year and the team gave up on him. I could see him doing some damage for Tampa
  5. Well. I see it’s still hope the other teams lose plan
  6. This Oakland team is crazy. I don’t know any of these guys. I can’t remember looking at a lineup of a mlb team and not knowing a soul. And this team is good. Looking at the list of names reminds me of my burkhalter travel little league team. And yes I do know who khris Davis is
  7. Meh, I don't know why they changed their strategy over the weekend and took 2/3 from the Cubs. The strategy was spot on. The cubs lost 2 out of 3
  8. That sounds good. And also we should think good thoughts. Ive heard fans enthusiasm and optimism really gives the team an extra one to two runs a game. Maybe a "hugs for everybody" night at the ole ball park. Or a "hands across Milwaukee" will do the trick
  9. Milwaukee Brewers official 2019 strategy of hopefully the other teams lose is put to the test this week In one case one of the Cards and Cubs are assured to lose the next three days. But also one of the cubs and Cards will win the next three days What a conundrum. Lets change our strategy to maybe we should take care of our own business. That would be a drastic change. A shock to the system. Maybe its too much to ask
  10. This guy is 1-6 with a just under 10 era in his last whatever starts? Christ. Just bring up burnes
  11. The bullpen was infinitely better last year than this year though. This team needs to improve a lot these last 50 odd games But they have lots of games against the cards and cubs.
  12. Depends on your idea of significant. I don't think they need significant. I think they need some pitchers who won't be a complete black hole. 4.0-4.2 era rental vets would do just fine. 4 Brown, 5 Ray, 16 Erceg and 20 Webb are in our top 20 on pipeline and are rule 5 eligible. Also, Arica. Ahhhhh. The someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure trade
  13. I don’t really know who we have to give anyone to get anything significant.
  14. In game thread bingo card Who needed “you don’t know how to watch a baseball game” to complete the card You just won
  15. That’s two completely trash games in a row. Even chacin is pitching better Slightly.
  16. They either hit it hard right at somebody in a game. Or they hit hard where they ain’t That’s why there’s no in between
