    To not acknowledge that the cubs are playing different than they were earlier this year is burying your head in the sand. We will see in these next nine games what kind of contender they are Plus those percentages are somewhat meaningless.

    Yep. If we beat them it’s a big middle finger. But we’ve already given them the middle finger this year. We should be laughing. But if they back door the playoffs and play us and then god forbid beat us. There is a lot of egg on our face. Period. I want zero to do with that scenario. It’s time for them to start losing.

    I do agree to not be scared. But that wasn’t the point of the post. IF the cubs make the playoffs and IF they play us and beat us. That ruins the season in my opinion. Any other scenario doesn’t ruin the season in my opinion. that’s just the reality of it

    The harsh reality of all this is that it doesn’t matter if we win the division by 30 games. If you lose in the wild card to counsell it’s all for nothing beating us in the playoffs nullifies everything that happened in the off-season and regular season between us and the cubs. At this point the cubs making the playoffs would be a disaster. their season was an utter embarassment for them and now they are winning a bunch of games in a row scoring a million runs. What a bunch of crap I honestly don’t care who we play unless it’s the cubs (unless we beat them) Losing to them would ruin the season Losing to padres or braces in wild card would suck too But I can live with that

    That catch by Perkins. Just ridiculous also when the big games start I hope Murphy isn’t afraid to take Williams out when he does this again. I know Williams has gotten out of tight jams before but tonight was the cardinals game all over again but he got lucky with the ump and bauers. Guys like megill etc can get an out when Williams is losing it

    Every time. He’s just not reliable right now. He looks good and then he falls apart. All in the same game mostly. Frustrating.

    Since it looks like another mediocre badgers season, thank god we got the brewers. Best run differential in baseball I hope all the hardcore run differential are right and that we can expect a a World Series here. 😀😀😀

    Really would like to hold on here. Phillies look like they might go down tonight too.

    I’m done with first base for the brewers. Just follow moneyball and put anyone there. I’m sick of trying to get guys who say they are first baseman and spending money on them. Just find good players on your roster and put them there enough with these guys

    Even the cubs aren’t really thinking about catching us but after that BS comeback we have played three games and won them all before they played another game hahahahahahah

    I think we are going to have to start playing bauers more over Hoskins. Even though it might not make a difference. I think it’s getting silly waiting for Hoskins to “come around” or “get going”

    There are a lot of really good teams that struggle when they get injuries. We cannot survive too many of these. Chourio cannot be hurt for an extended period of time.

    Watching these wild card teams play. Yeah. I think it would be better to to get that bye Atlanta seems like a completely different team then the one we destroyed awhile ago
