Forget before the year expectations. As of today if the brewers don’t get a bye to the divisional round then it’s a failure. Pure and simple as that

I was agreeing with you in that winning the division is not a foregone conclusion like others are saying. I wasn’t saying we milw will blow it. They are still in good shape. but if you are going to run Mona for 15-20 games at shortstop and then throw in siegler and lockridge for another bunch of at bats multiplied by having to use a bunch of bottom of the staff relievers every other game because the staff is burnt out. It’s more likely then you think

Yep. Easily. I have a feeling g we are going to be hoping for cubs losses than us getting wins. Unless we get everyone back playing at their levels. Not in name only like collins and Perkins who came back and proceeded to go 1 for 100 at the plate.

I have a ton of good things to say about Peralta and there is one thing he brings to this team that other pitchers havent but I don’t want to say it as not to jinx it😀

Down to 5.5. The brewers seem to be and are talking like they are on fumes and there are over 30 games left. That’s not a good sign im interested in when people would worry. 3.5? 2.5? People are saying cubs don’t have a chance. When does that flip

I can’t spend September counting on the pirates and Rockies to beat the cubs to save our season we needs our regular players to start playing. We need our relievers back line hall, Myers etc. Anderson needs to be the blow out guy woody and Miz need to pitch more than 4 freaking innings

I don’t think people understand how precarious this position is now. At the trade deadline I was worried if our infielders went down that we had no backups. Now we are going to play monasterio at ss for 15-20 games. We are not playing good enough to win a bunch of 3-2 games. I think we’ve done well to hang around .500 these last 10 games or so but this could get ugly. At some point you need Major League Baseball players. Thank hod we got a cushion but any kind of 6-7 game win streak by the cubs and that butt hole is going to be tight with our guys I wouldn’t be worried but we are a Turang or even Durbin injury away from siegler and monasterio for the playoffs Jesus

They don’t have to play that well to win a bunch of series though. Look at the pirates series. Look at last night. Just hit a random home run here and there and they win 3-2 or 4-3. I’m just happy we beat them that last game. That was a major regular season victory
