I do worry that they don’t do anything and then all of a sudden one of their infielders get hurt. They really have no backups worth a crap if we acquire a bat in the infield and durbin plays less for example so be it I would rather have that then monasterio playing 40-50 games

I think a lefty reliever to replace Koenig as high leverage would help a legitimate bat that supplants Contreras as a three hitter would be perfect but what position and how much would it cost

If this is true than he doesn’t need to bat 3. Just accept he’s a worse hitter than durbin and has worse power than Ortiz for this year and plan accordingly
