    I’ve stayed far away from the hiura debate this year. But he is one guy I really root for to make it. He seems like such a good guy. He never puts his head down. I would love for him to come up and tear it up for a month. He has proven he can get hot plus when he actually makes contact the sound from his bat is a lot different than the other brewers.

    I start unpacking from a long weekend and the brewers turn 3-2 deficit to 7-3. I really must be bad luck. I’m hardly following them this weekend and we go on to sweep the rangers and so far looking good tonight

    The problem with this road trip is you are playing really good teams who are probably playing the best they’ve played all year maybe if we caught them at a different time we could win a few more. But this might get ugly. It kinda already has

    What is the point of a sport if you believe that it’s won or lost based on luck. There is always some sort of chance in any game in any sport. But baseball heads have taken it too far it permeates through not only fans but the people who play the game in my opinion. It’s almost become a coping mechanism

    I don’t think they win the division. But I’m actually intrigued about the wild card. I actually think they could do that handicapping the teams now that I’ve actually spent some time on it. But they have to finish ahead of the reds they can’t fall behind both the cubs and reds

    It’s just hard to watch baseball in general anymore. Once baseball got locked into the terms luck and random and bad luck and good luck and games are random it’s just become self defeating coaches and players and gms are all caught up in this and they spend so much time trying to weed out anything that’s hard hit that’s an out. It’s almost like it’s blasphemous to hit a ball hard but the shortstop catches it so it’s ok to swing the bat in a way that doesn’t invite as much of chance to make contact but at least when it does on rare occasions it goes a long way. I mean who cares if you strikeout ten times as long as you didn’t hit into the dreaded bad luck out. It’s like it’s broken players and organizations to a point just hit the ball Stop worrying about it Striking out and popping up or rolling over on weak grounders because of your damn launch angle or massive long swing is just unproductive and bad
