  1. If I was burnes or other said pitcher it still sucks to lose games though. I would rather win sometimes
  2. The last thing I’m worried about is that. This team is going to have to do everything possible just to get into the playoffs. At that point it’s a win for me i mean. Watch these guys hit.
  3. Haven’t we lost like 6-7 straight to the braves and dodgers. Even bad teams win one once in awhile. Hopefully tonight
  4. We still have to score even if he pitches great. That’s the problem
  5. So they are making us play at 9pm and then fly to Texas and play tomorrow. Give me a break if we can somehow win this game we only last a half game to the rivals so far this week. That’s not too bad
  6. Cubs win. That’s extremely disappointing
  7. Got it back a guy like canha is no superstar but he a still an upgrade from what we were playing
  8. I can’t believe they are pitching this bummer dude with a lead in the 8th hes going to blow it edit. Double play!
  9. Is stroman out for the season for the cubs?
  10. I just explained it to you. Something that never was going to happen is not someone’s ceiling. It’s actually an easy concept. This week it just wasn’t going to happen. It actually is laughable that it happened on the first game. It’s a dumb argument anyways. Now I do agree that anyone who makes the playoffs in baseball ceiling is World Series champs. I don’t care what your record is
  11. No. You don’t. The brewers were never going to win all 6 games this week. now last week when they played the Rockies and Sox and you said the ceiling was 6-0. No argument. Even when they went 5-1. That doesn’t mean they didn’t have the ability to win all the games With the way the rangers and dodgers have been playing lately they were never going to win every game. So it couldn’t be their ceiling by definition. Let alone seeing the brewers play just a couple of weeks ago against a team that is on the same level as the dodgers and rangers and get our butts handed to us no matter how you try to bend into a pretzel to back this up. It wasn’t going to happen. It just wasn’t. All it too was one game.
  12. All it took was one game to see that we do not have the talent or ability as a team to go 6-0 this week. With the way the dodgers and rangers are playing it just was never going to happen. Hence the ceiling was not 6-0 it just wasn’t
  13. All it took was one game to ruin the pretzel logic that went into thinking this team could have gone 6-0 this week so let’s get it going tomorrow to try to hit our realistic ceiling commensurate to the talent and ability we have as a team and win 3 out of the next 5 i think we are better off rooting against our rivals than rooting for the brewers this week. It could get painful. and it was a good day for that
  14. If it’s unrealistic then how in the flying $&@! can it be the ceiling
  15. They won’t make it out of the dodgers series before your realistic 6-0 week disappears away in thin air thats not saying the brewers aren’t a solid team etc. it’s too much to ask to sweep both of those teams
  16. Or we could split it and just say go 81-0. That’s realistic. I mean 162-0 seems pretty far fetched
  17. Sure and Turang ceiling is single season home run record but I do agree the floor is 0-6 They could do that and I could definitely entertain the argument that they would win both series I guess 4-2 is realistic but unlikely They ain’t going 6-0 That’s not realistic or the ceiling
  18. You don’t understand ceiling and floor
  19. The way these postseason rules work who really cares if your the third division winner or a wild card
  20. All the wild card hopefuls have some tough series coming up too next week
  21. Brewers took care of business for once. Acting like they want to be in the postseason.
