  1. Jon "I know what you're snickering at" Coutlangus. I bow my head in shame
  2. this lineup couldn't be most HS teams I'm all for venting but let's not get carried away It is a pretty crummy lineup however
  3. I can practically smell the Cubs' stank breath as they lean down our necksnow
  4. Let's Go Cards, ugh Earlier in the year we were killing crummy teams like this. Now we keep coughing up series to the likes of Washington, SF and now possibly the Reds. Doesn't bode well.
  5. I've suddenly got a hangover from my trade talk buzz
  6. I think this is a day we've all kind of looked forward to: where the Brewers are the ones getting guys at the deadline instead of trading pending free agents for nuggets. It's a sign that the Brewers are good. I hear you but the fact that the Padres are also in the playoff hunt is what raises red flags for me
  7. Don't those go hand-in-hand? If he becomes a rental, we get picks. Yeah, that's what I meant. To compound things, I misread you the first time!
  8. Now I'm just going to be sitting here waiting for the other show to drop. This doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me otherwise.
  9. Sure, we could get some picks from the deal, but we are giving back some great talent, for perhaps, a solid reliever. I just hope this is not a rental! Well, it's either the rental or the picks I'll take rental, personally, but maybe Linebrink can get some old Maddux Magic and turn it around
  10. I think I'll just withhold judgement on this one until October...of 2010.
  11. Ah, that makes sense and explains the lack of histrionics, esp. considering all those graphics and whatnot they did for D-Bow early last year.
  12. You obviously have never been to Lake Geneva on a summer friday night. Water Street on a summer Friday night is no picnic, either. Anyway, as far as the article goes, I hope Braun gets to really love Lake Geneva.
  13. That Hoffman intro is downright intimidating Funny thing, when he was in the Red Carpet Parade for the All-Star Game a couple weeks back, his little boys were with him in the truck and were wearing AC/DC shirts Anyway, Guess the Attendance is a mainstay everywhere
  14. Not the worst in the NBA by a shot
  15. Personally, Lake Geneva is way more appealing to me than Milwaukee and I'm a 32-tear old married guy
  16. GameDay has been terrible the last couple weeks. It's been telling me that Yo struck out Chris Capuano for 5 minutes now.
  17. Coffey's like the white Ray King Really wish we could've gotten one more there
  18. I don't make microwave popcorn so I swear I'm not covering my own tracks here but I've always found the smell of burnt popcorn somewhat pleasant, it always surprises me how worked up people get about that. I've got pretty thick skin though and have an office and a door I can close so I'm pretty lucky.
  19. Come back soon Woogie! Jumpin is a good substitute though
  20. I came home just in time to see the Brewers lose this one; sounds like I should be glad that's all I saw.
  21. NOTE: Rally Rabbit 2.0 died on the way back to his home planet.
  22. Well, as crummy as this weekend has been, if the D-Backs can hold on in the 9th in Chicago I'll be OK.
