    Let's see...extra innings, 1-1 game, the Crew could go over .500 with a win, and it's well after midnight. Yeah, this can only end in disappointment and misery for me.

    "Just got back from the game...." Sat next to the big Mountain Man we were talking about here a couple weeks ago in the club seats I go from Daron and Bill this past Spring. I could get used to that (the club seats, not the Mountain Man). Not much to say other than you could see that first Jones home run coming the way Cappy kept getting behind the count...I knew someone was gonna be serving up those fastballs eventually. Had a great time, I just wish the game had ended after the 2nd inning.

    This game was a drag, but if you want to talk demoralizing, that was Friday, in the end. At least last night, there was a chance Big Ben misses only a start or two, if that. I come to turn the gameday audio on the computer tonight and I find out that he's on the DL. And then I go out to eat dinner with my wife, excited after after Billy Hall's homer and come back afterwards to find this hot mess...ugh. I still think the Crew has a good shot at .500 but it does seem like the corner this team needs to turn is always a step ahead of them

    I think I came off harsher than I meant to there, I keep forgetting that brewerfan.net is an island of civility. Anyway, if this isn't going to get locked, my vote is for Simmons to get in, esp. based on the aforementioned Carlton Fisk comparisons.

    Yes, no one had ever talked about players potentially being in the Hall of Fame here until you introduced the format. Come on.

    I hope I never have to watch MLB gameday as the only means of following the Crew. No TV and no radio me Nik go something something.. No doubt...I'm used to having to listen to the games on the internet here in Chicago, but my wife and I were up in Milwaukee for the day and wanted to go watch the game at Friday's Front Row, only to discover Miller Park was packed full of the feathered-hair set watching Bon Jovi...no dice. So we drove around for half an hour looking for a place that had the MLB package before we finally gave up. Ridiculous that they're not showing a road game on a Saturday night on local TV.
