    So seeing as how this is no surprise, why didn't MA trade him to the Mets a year ago?

    All right, I'll say it even though I will get roasted. Every team can do #1 and #2. Most teams do #3. Four is a dream that really won't make much difference. I'm a huge Brewer and baseball fan. Love the current success the Brewers have had, but ultimately it about the World Series and flags flying. The odds are really stacked against small market teams and it has gotten worse. Could it happen? I guess, but it hasn't. Don't even talk about the Royals, different environment completely. We will have to be happy with bites of the apple because we can't match the depth of about 10 teams have because of payroll. Enjoy what we have? Yes. Hope for a run? Sure. Then reload for next year.

    I don't think, by the numbers, our offense was horrible. But when it counted, down the stretch, it disappeared. That is what everyone remembers.
