  1. Let Glover finish up the seventh and Jorge can toss the last two perhaps.
  2. Might as well give El Caballo the Gold Glove right now.
  3. Now time for G-Love to hold his nice lead. He's been pretty impressive so far IMO
  4. If Cirillo struggles today I think Wes should possibly be seen more in that side of the platoon. As bad as Helms was last year he was better than Cirillo. They were just playing Cirillo's hot spring and 1 game which I would have done too. We'll see what happens I guess.
  5. Rainy day, so I'll be listening indoors. Too bad it's not on TV, but I had planned to tune into Bob and Jim after watching mostly Daron and Bill lately.
  6. I agree in a sense that this losing streak needs to stop now. It may be ludicrous to say that this is a must win but the Brewers also need to avoid at all costs lengthy losing streaks. String a couple long losing streaks together and it'll almost feel impossible to get back to .500. I hope for the Crew to be able to hover around .500 all year with swings possibly going back and forth. Lengthy losing streaks could be too costly to overcome.
  7. The Brewers will win tonight simply because of the fact that me and my crew will not be there after watching all three losses this weekend.....
  8. Ugh. I hate projects that account for 50% of your grade in the course that cut into my Brewer time. I wish I could just graduate so I can give myself off and go to the home opener every year.
  9. I still don't think Lee will get 10 hits today but that's a good start.
  10. Today's prediction Brewers 32 Pirates Zip BUT Carlos Lee WILL be held under 10 hits and 5 home runs.
  11. I've only seen Victor Santos pitch one game this spring (he got rocked). I've had a concer about Vic for a little while now. Maybe it's just a misguided perception of mine but anyway.... Victor Santos throws the ball RIGHT over the heart of the plate. I'm still for letting Victor shoot himself in the foot in the early going. If he is still in the rotation come June, I will be surprised. Actually I will be pleasantly surprised since that means he is likely doing well. I'm pulling for the guy but I'm not at all confident. Glover is a better option at this point for more starts that Santos. I also think Obie is better suited for the pen, therefore when/if Santos falters, hopefully somebody is hot in AAA.
  12. Anybody know who else is pitching today besides Glover?
  13. I kinda wonder if he wasn't being thrown at. I know Ozzie Guillen didn't have much good to say about Lee. I don't have any concrete proof, that's for sure, but Guillen kind of comes off as a jack*ss to me.
  14. Vic's gettin rocked. I think we'll see a lot of up and downs for him this year.
  15. Doug Davis didn't have very good stuff either. I do see your point though and think it's going to take some time for Hendrickson to become an above average pitcher, if he does at all. He can't blow away the hitters so he's going to need to learn how to get guys out. I don't know if Ben will be able to 'learn' how to get guys out. Time will only tell.
