Ashby is one of 3-4 arms in Nashville I would welcome to replace Mears His fastball has no movement & is very hittable -
Mitchell is a great 5th OF for late game defense & occasional pinch hitting He strikes out far too often to be an everyday player without power

This is hard to watch … most of these players will never sniff an NFL roster Much of the NFL preseason seems without purpose I liked the layers cuts rather than keep the 90-man roster until the final cutdown

Yes, that would be terrible even if we had a quality backup QB - which we don’t (although Pratt has potential for the future)

I hope Pratt plays the entire game against Baltimore next Saturday I hope we sign a veteran QB on Monday Clifford can be released - no concern that anyone would claim him (unfortunately)
