  1. Jordan Love looks like Justin Fields today … except he can’t run … brutal
  2. Random thoughts … How arrogant to hold some of our injured players for the Lions game - assuming we could beat the Saints without them This would have been the year to acclimate to a new defensive coordinator - Green Bay will never win anything with Joe Barry This past offseason would have also been the ideal time to move on from David Bakhtiari - he was a great player before his injury … he is completely unreliable now & he fails the “what have you done for me lately” test This is a 4-6 win team - Love looks like a rookie today - he is getting exposed for his inexperience New Orleans is the better team - no way we come back from 14 down Very disappointing to see such poor execution early on
  3. Payamps needs a week of rest He’s had a great season overall - but he’s not been good for a month or so I assume he’s tired Hopefully, a week off gets him back on track Sadly, based on “what have you done for me lately” - I don’t trust him come playoff time
  4. I hope the Cubs keep losing I don’t want to see them in the wildcard round of the playoffs
  5. I’ve had a crazy busy work week Did I miss an injury to red-hot Tyrone Taylor?
  6. ANSWER: 16 QUESTION: How many runs ahead does Milwaukee need to be in order for Brian Anderson to get on the field?
  7. Houser gives us four very good starters … & I appreciate Miley’s veteran savvy too
  8. Sogard was actually pretty good in relief 😇
  9. I knew Molina was old … but I had no idea that he joined the Cards that far back 😬
  10. We have a great problem … quality major-league OF depth It will be interesting to see how the Brewers treat this luxury & if a trade would bring back starting pitching or potential corner infielders
  11. This is good to know … I had forgotten this benefit to the Brewers Hopefully, he addresses his batting issues that have worked prior to the big league club (& even in Milwaukee for a short while) so he can return & be part of our bright future He could also be part of a trade to bring back a 3B or 1B this offseason … since we have several quality OF in addition to Wiemer Like so many other Brewers fans, I like his personality & appreciate his talent I want him to do well & would love for that to be in a Brewers uniform
  12. With the three switch-hitters (Santana & Caratini & Perkins) … Is this our first all RH line up of the season (game #149)?
  13. I thought they did pick up Wong’s option & then traded him for Winker & Toro … am I wrong?
  14. This is a good decision Wiemer was given plenty of opportunities to work out his hitting woes Hopefully he’ll address all the movement in his batting stance before next season or he’ll be a distant memory soon enough - a talented player with terrible mechanics The minor league coaches have to take responsibility for not addressing this issue in his first few years Wiemer’s current approach will never play in MLB
  15. I say we pick up Canha’s 2024 option
  16. I don’t disagree with you … but Anderson is not playing & he was struggling offensively for a few months back when he was playing Chafin struggled before the trade with Arizona … he had a few decent games after arriving in Milwaukee - followed by several terrible outings Tellez has not been good most of the year - especially after returning from injury … I would be surprised if he’s in the Brewers plans for 2024 so why not make the change now? Are you defending a particular player with your post?
  17. I’m not impressed with the Badgers If not for turnovers, Georgia Southern would be up a few scores Wisconsin has plenty of work to do if they want to be competitive against Big Ten teams
  18. I may be wrong but I don’t understand why Anderson was kept on the roster when Donaldson was added I know he is good defensively at two positions - 3B & RF … but aren’t those positions well covered defensively? I also understand team chemistry & a player’s history … but Tellez has not been helpful upon his return I’m not sure anyone would argue that Chafin should remain on the roster … if so - where is he adding value? So … I believe the changes are past due in spite of our hot streak We are certainly not benefiting from the roster increase from 26 to 28
  19. I would love to see the Brewers address the bottom of their 28-man roster If I was the GM - I would DFA Anderson, Chafin, & Tellez There are several potential replacements for those players in Nashville - Toro or Black … Gasser or Small … take your pick & instant improvement I would also option Wiemer as soon as either Mitchell or Perkins is adequate at the plate Today would be a great day for these past due changes to the roster

  21. UAB scored 35 against Georgia Southern last week Wisconsin has 7 at the half … playing at home And look at the stats … they are killing us If not for turnovers we would be down a couple scores Awful … we may not win Big Ten game this year
  22. Wow … Did I completely overestimate Fickell’s ability to quickly turn this team around Unless we see rapid improvement … which I’m not sure will take place … this team will struggle mightily in the Big Ten What a disappointing start to the 2023 season … this team is so out of sync I miss Jim Leonhard more each week Is it a lack of talent? Are the players not a match for the new scheme? Why do they look so mediocre? I can barely watch … yuck!
  23. Why can’t Wiemer keep that role? if Mitchell can’t help offensively, he should probably continue to get healthy & be ready for Spring Training
  24. I hope he does too so Counsell can decline & become even more beloved by the Milwaukee community
