Hall and Uribe look available to me. Easy for me to say.

Miz 5

Romero 1

Hall 1

Uribe 1

Megill 1

Off day tomorrow, either way 🙂

Woodruff I sure hope could face 7-8-9 for an inning?

I assume Ashby says he could throw 20 pitches today 🤷‍♂️

I agree Miz needs to get through 5 then you could get by with Romero, Hall, Uribe, Megill an inning a piece.

Hopefully can put up some runs early tonight. Bauers I’m looking at you… No hits from our 2-5 hitters last night I wouldn’t expect that again tonight. Go Brewers!!!

Ashby isn’t taken out of the game yesterday to not be available today, imo. He would pitch an inning in a lead situation.

Agreed, Ashby is pitching tonight if there is a lead

Everyone is available. The question is more who will be most effective, given their workload.

I would have to assume that Tampa is in the same predicament having thrown Martinez yesterday and having a shorter pitching staff than us.

Everyone here is a fan of at least one (and probably more) Wisconsin sports teams, so I get that there’s going to be some facing down the demons this morning. There’s a lot of recent postseason history there, and most of it is bad.

But today is a new day, and from where I’m sitting, it looks pretty bright outside. Three shots to achieve the dream is a deal I’ll take every single year. Not convinced?

How does two more appearances by not just your Cy Young winner but a guy who can do things with the baseball that literally no one else in the history of the sport can do strike you?

How does having Babe Ruth in the lineup move you? Because that’s what Chourio is doing. Only the Babe has also had multi-hit games in his first four World Series appearances. And Chourio is even better because he’s faster than Ruth ever was and can hit pitching the likes of which Ruth never faced. So for the next three games, the Brewers have Babe Ruth+ leading off.

Oh, and they also have the guy who is better than peak Andrew Miller in the bullpen as well as a minty fresh closer. And another off day tomorrow if necessary. And then two home games after that if it comes to it.

I’m still feeling pretty good.

The silver lining for me was Martinez going multiple innings yesterday and Cash not pitching Rasmussen Game 1. They really should have Rasmussen in Game 5 and to make matters worse they had to burn their presumed starter yesterday to win.

I started to think they should start Rasmussen on short rest, but that just makes an ugly pitching situation in MIl. I think they have to just pray a horrible pitching situation today can eek out a win so they have Rasmussen/Peralta on normal rest in Milwaukee.

When you think about it, you see why teams just never come back when down 3-0.

Right. As much as we are perhaps concerned that the Brewers' pen may be taxed, the Rays are in absolute dire straights with their pitching staff, while we have the likely Cy Young winner going tonight on full rest. I know that our history as Wisconsin sports fans has taught us to expect the worst, but the Brewers are still very much in the driver's seat.

He's "available" but I thought he was showing signs of fatigue last night. I would rather give him the benefit of those 2 off days and fire it up for 2 chances at home.

what is the point of rostering Harrison if he's never going to pitch?

I stand by my statement last night that I would have preferred him over Drohan last night.

Kyle simply has nastier stuff when he’s on and is much more of a strikeout pitcher and less dependent on his defense.

Drohan simply hasn’t pitched well at all in the second half. We obviously can’t, but if I could replace him with Patrick or Anderson today, I’d do it.
