    I’d much rather have Eddy Alvarez or Jahmai Jones - maybe even Keston Hiura - as the Brewers DH than Jesse Winker I truly don’t understand how or why he hasn’t been DFA’d yet - he’s had plenty of opportunities & over half the season to produce … mind-boggling I much prefer an outside acquisition to any of the three mentioned above but Winker & Rowdy Tellez are on thin ice as far as I’m concerned … I’m ready for change if only for change sake it is odd that Winker isn’t getting starts against RH pitchers but retains a 26-man roster spot

    Based on Keith Law's Top 100 Draft Prospects, Milwaukee has already drafted 5 of those players ... 17 - Wilken 40 - Pratt 49 - Bitonti 60 - Knoth 78 - Boeve If they sign all of these players, it will be a successful - Grade A - draft!

    I read that Woodward has had bone cancer (twice) & then Tommy John https://nbc-2.com/news/2023/05/19/fgcu-baseballs-jackson-woodward-beats-cancer-twice-to-return-to-the-diamond/ While I sympathize with him - simply can't imagine what he's been through - this seems to be an awkward selection ... especially this high

    I’m a HUGE fan of Black … he was impressive when I saw him play in person back in May His speed is better than advertised His bat is for real too He was more than adequate defensively He has a strong arm from 3rd, but might be a better 1B or DH option I actually like him more than Hiura this year as a replacement for Tellez & Winker

    Yes - Candelario would be a huge improvement over Tellez & Winker No - please don’t trade Black … I believe he will be an impact bat for us as soon as next year

    I agree I was embarrassed to be a Brewers fan That was Little League - maybe T-ball cringe worthy … like a cute little kid running to third base from home plate That lack of on field awareness is unforgivable at the MLB level

    I would only consider that trade if we could sign Robert to an extension … & even then it might be difficult I want to see Chourio in Milwaukee for a decade or more - home grown talent signed & developed in our system would be sweet
