He’s a swell guy … like a grandfather to the team I seldom agree with his in game moves I didn’t like the hire from day one Being in first place doesn’t alter my perception of him as manager I’m certainly glad Milwaukee is playing well Tonight is potentially one that got away

We’re in first place in spite of Murphy … certainly not because of him I’m pretty sure you already knew that too He’s not a good in game decision maker

Hoping this Murphy experiment is only one year i simply don’t like him as “the” manager

Classic apologist post Brewers don’t have an ace Freddy is currently the most experienced starter
  6. edfunderburk
Yes - correct - it was the Contreras first at bat thank you 😊
  7. edfunderburk
Chourio could have two hits tonight Both outs were exceptional defensive plays
  8. edfunderburk
I miss listening to Brewers broadcasters
  9. edfunderburk
    Ortiz is legit 🙌💪👏
  10. edfunderburk
I remain unimpressed by Murphy’s line up choices & in game decisions

I expect Peralta to pitch like an ace He does so 3 or 4 times per season I prefer watching some of the younger guys My expectations for Freddy are too high
  12. edfunderburk
Hit him 4th & drop Adames down Ortiz makes better contact
  13. edfunderburk
Along with Bauers - Ortiz is becoming one of my favorite Brewers players
  14. edfunderburk
Peralta is a middle of the rotation starting pitcher - nothing more
  15. edfunderburk
I’m becoming a fan of Bauers Arnold saw something & made a good trade to pick him up

The LF wall in Houston is short. Hopefully Peralta keeps the ball in the park. This should be a good hitting park for our RH power bats.

Great news 🗞️ I found the Houston RSN on my DirecTV so I can watch the Brewers play tonight. Funny pre-game story on Hader. It was suggested that he struggled in San Diego because he was so heartbroken over his unexpected trade from Milwaukee. No mention as to why he was horrible in his last month with the Brewers. 😜

I was going to drive down to Houston tomorrow to catch the Saturday evening & Sunday afternoon games. I decided to cancel that trip because of the power outages in greater Houston. We lived in NW Houston for 15 years prior to moving to DFW 21 years ago. Everyone we’ve checked on is currently without power.

I live in north Fort Worth TX. This appears to be one of the few Brewers games I can’t watch. Houston is too close - even though I have an RSN. Apparently, only Milwaukee is broadcasting this game so I’m out of luck. I hope MLB resolves this foolish challenge sooner than later. At least I don’t live in Iowa. Apparently, Iowans are restricted from watching several MLB teams.

    Frelick is on fire!

I'm sure I'm in the minority - but I'm ready to trade Adames for a starting pitcher & let Ortiz & Turang handle the SS duties moving forward

This is fun ... so happy for Chourio ... that has to feel good after such a lengthy dry spell ... he got all of that one!
  23. edfunderburk
Just a suggestion ... It might be good to let Ortiz play regularly
  24. edfunderburk
    I as well
  25. edfunderburk
In spite of Murphy’s terrible in game decisions
