  1. Basic mathematics suggests a team can’t continue to leave the bases loaded as often as this year’s Brewers ... twice last night & again today That is a good way to lose close ballgames on a regular basis Someone needs to get a clutch base hit on occasion

  3. Maybe the Brewers should let Haines go & hire an optometrist as hitting coach for 2021

  5. Hiura should go see an eye doctor on his day off tomorrow
  6. A bit unusual for the Brewers to have back to back days OFF This offense continues to under-perform ... even as a die-hard fan, they are nearly impossible to watch There is no excuse for playing Peterson over Gyorko or Braun who are established major-league hitters ... I’m not a fan of platoons or shifts Yelich is the most perplexing - his numbers are far from any of his previous MLB seasons ... especially his two in Milwaukee I hope Attanasio opens up his wallet so Stearns can assemble some talent around a few of the Brewers key players Enough rambling & complaining ... hopefully this is a one-year aberration & next year will be much improved #GoBrewers
  7. Leo Durocher was right ... “Nice guys finish last” (Lindblom, Sogard ... who else goes on this list)
  8. As someone who has worm glasses since he was five (soon to be 60) ... I’ve actually wondered the same thing. I hope he gets his eyes checked in the offseason. LASIK may help him & those of us who watch him.
  9. He throw six different pitches or something. Sadly, he doesn’t throw any of them well enough to get MLB batters out He would struggle in Double-A Biloxi At least one of the three years is a short season ... hopefully, management will cut their losses & release him in the off-season Is it possible to trade him back to the KBL for a bag of balls?
  10. We had a junk baller in Davies ... I’d rather see Lauer in the starting five than Lindblom
  11. I prefer Levering to Lepay ... but I miss BA anytime he is off calling NBA games I prefer Suppan to Lindblom ... I can’t stomach three years of his pitching Lindblom appears to be a super kind man ... but he’s not a MLB pitcher
  12. By way of comparison ... even in what was a BAD year for Corbin Burnes last year, I always thought he would rebound & become a “good” MLB starter ... I feel the same way about Woodruff ... even Devin Williams I simply don’t see that in Peralta ... I’m aware I could be wrong.& as a diehard 50-year Brewers fan, I hope I’m dead wrong To clarify: I don’t see Williams as a starter - but an above average MLB pitcher

  14. I don’t believe Peralta will ever be a “good” MLB pitcher ... every year is supposed to be the year he breaks out ... he’s young but I simply don’t see what others see in him ... I hope I’m wrong - but I’m pretty sure he is a middle of the road guy that never reaches his “potential”
  15. I hope we don’t see Grimm in this 2nd game unless we have our first 10-run lead of the season ... which we all know is highly unlikely
  16. I feel the opposite. If we hit, and actually get a lead, our starters can take us to a couple of studs instead of having our middle guys who are iffy to say the least. I was basing my post on the fact that we CANNOT hit ... otherwise I agree with what you wrote .. but let’s acknowledge the truth - the Brewers may have the worst offense in MLB this year We need as many at bats (outs) as possible & our deep bullpen affords us a chance to win the longer we play

  19. I’m not a fan of a 7-inning MLB game. This negates the Brewers one strength - our bullpen
  20. Why can’t he wear sunglasses? Unbelievable ...

  23. IMHO ... Lindblom is not a major league pitcher - certainly not a starter He Is a junk baller & that may win him awards in the KBO, but not in MLB I understand the budget conscious Brewers taking a flyer like they did with Thames, but I hate to think Lindblom will be in the rotation for three years Like Brock Holt, I was excited when those signings took place I’m not excited any more
