Canha and Santana both seem better than what we are trotting out there and didn't cost a lot. I get that people want to make splashy moves, but those moves aren't guaranteed to win a World Series. I'm old enough to remember when the Cubs traded for Jose Quintana and some people thought that the Sterns was a moron for not trading Brinson to get the best pitcher on the market. Not sure that trade worked out for the Cubs like they thought it would.
