  1. Looking for 4 tickets (or sets of 2) for the Packers vs Seahawks game on 11/14. Got some buddies coming into town from Texas that have never been to Lambeau. Not looking for a steal or anything, but if anyone has some they may want to sell and not pay Stubhub fees or whatever, let me know! Thanks!
  2. There was plenty of stuff that could have been done without any WWE involvement. Changing walk up songs, changing the scoreboard images to have a WWE theme, that type of stuff. For as much as they promoted it, to only do a bobblehead was disappointing.
  3. Yeah man, that was one of the worst theme nights ever. Literally other than the bobblehead, there was NOTHING WWE related, we were pretty disappointed. I know they honored Uecker and all that, but still. It's not exactly a theme night when it's just a bobblehead giveaway. I was expecting WWE music, scoreboard images, etc - like they do for Star Wars, 90s, etc. Oh well, at least we still had a good time. I'll DM you about the bobblehead.
  4. You can say that, and on paper, yes, that's accurate. But to overlook how this team has played in the last week really isn't the smartest (and how every break, every little advantage is being jumped all over by the Cards, etc.). We may still win the division, but the teams (at least over the past 10 days) are definitely going in opposite directions. And the smaller the lead gets, the more and more pressure mounting on the Brewers to win a couple of games and clinch this division. If the Cardinals sweep 4 against the Cubs and we only win 1 (or less) this weekend against the Mets, that series next week suddenly has an entirely different meaning. You'd hate to somehow not have it clinched before going to LA. I know those are all long shots - odds are the Cardinals will lose sooner or later and that the Brewers won't end the season losing like 14 of 15 games...but man, it's super scary to think about. Can only hope the Brewers can bust out at some point. They were playing so well and then it's like the lights went out (or maybe they just though it was over and could coast, who knows).
  5. Well I tried that - my rep was very unfriendly about it. Wow. But they are sold out of vouchers apparently. Thanks for the suggestion at least.
  6. I hadn't contacted her, but I'll give it a shot. Thank you.
  7. I posted this in trading post, but I know that not many people go in there these days. Good morning, I know this is a long shot. Long story short....my son is a big WWE and Brewers fan (he's 9). This was supposed to be his weekend with his mom so I didn't buy tickets for us to go (I have season tickets, just not the theme night ones). Last minute, his mom and I switched weekends and I thought "awesome, I'll take him to the theme night". Go to look this morning, naturally tickets are sold out - which must have just happened as they were there when I looked a few days ago. Ugh. know this is probably not going to happen, but I figured I'd ask if anyone happened to buy any theme tickets they can't use or were planning to use purely to sell the bobblehead that they'd be willing to sell me for tomorrow. Or if anyone has any other options - I know I can buy him a bobble off Ebay down the road, just was hoping to get him one tomorrow. Again, not expecting much, but figured I'd at least try. Thanks.

  9. That's it? Seems like they could have done better than that? No reason the Brewers shouldn't be adding an arm too then.
  10. The Suns are talented no doubt, but it's not like they didn't have their fair share of breaks to get here either. They beat the Lakers without AD, the Nuggets without Murray and the Clippers without Kawhi. So it's really hard to say if they're elite or not. Same with the Bucks. I think we can definitely win this series, especially if Giannis returns.
  11. The Bucks are also dramatically overdue to start regressing to the mean on their own 3 point shots. Shot 39% during the regular season and have struggled mightily in the playoffs. Yet here we are. Hopefully they return to form, we'd be crazy scary if we actually had a few games at 50% or so.
  12. On paper, this is a series the Bucks almost certainly should win. Atlanta could get hot from 3 and win a game or two for sure, but overall, the Bucks are a much better team. Not that Vegas lines mean anything, but they obviously weren't built with terrible lines/odds/etc. They have the Bucks at -500 to win the series and the overall favorite (Barely) to win the title at -109. Needless to say, it would be a pretty big upset to lose here, assuming everyone stays healthy. Though the same could be said about the 76ers/Hawks so.... The one thing that does scare me is that the Bucks get complacent and overlook them. The Bucks seemed to pour every once of energy into that Nets series (obviously they had to), but it's certainly possible they have a let down here, especially in game 1. Hopefully Bud is quick to adjust as the drop coverage with Lopez will get torched by Trae Young and our tendency to overhelp on defense could leave some of their elite level shooters wide open. The Bucks really didn't play well on offense against the Nets, kinda figure they make a few more shots and the matchups should allow Forbes/Portis to play more minutes, I think that gives them a boost as well. It's hard not to look at everything right now and think that this probably is the Bucks best shot (yes, 2019 was probably an elite chance too), but we have the talent, we were built to win right now, there's essentially no super teams left (especially if Kawhi is out long term). Makes me excited and nervous all at once.
  13. We really don't know what AR wants. Does he want to be the highest paid? Would he be willing to take a more team friendly deal from a salary standpoint BUT something that has guaranteed money for the next 4-5 years that insures he's going to be a Packer as long as he wants? Does he want both? We really don't know (though I'm assuming the guaranteed money is for sure on his list).
  14. So long as the player and team sources are both staying quiet, there's little to report on until (virtual) mini-camp occurs, which Rodgers will likely skip. Beyond that, training camp doesn't start until around August, so there can't really be a holdout / retirement before that. Right, that's clear. But with all the "stuff" being reported on for the first week, things just flat disappeared other than an occasional ex-player or two. I saw something about they were "negotiating" and there was some interest from Rodgers (or something to that effect) but it didn't seem like any new stuff, just rehashing old things. Could just be in a holding pattern I guess.
  15. Very little coming out about this right now. Really makes me wonder if there's extension talks happening and a deal will seemingly be announced out of nowhere?
  16. I disagree. There is value in having a solid, cheap backup QB to a guy who is 38 years old and has dealt with his share of injuries over the years. If the Packers are truly in "go for it" mode before Rodgers declines or retires, a season could be destroyed should no solid backup QB option be available if Rodgers has to miss more than 1-2 games. I mean, it has happened. I disagree here as well. Simply being a first round pick doesn't guarantee you get to start or give you any right to be traded. There are multiple first rounds picks who simply flame out. Rodgers sat for 3 years himself. The Patriots did it with Jimmy G (think he was second round, but still). They did eventually trade him but there's no way the Packers would feel forced to move him now - in a couple years maybe. But now...his value would never be lower. He hasn't played a single snap (not even in pre-season), he was third on the depth chart last year. Should Rodgers falter, get hurt or retire, it's his time to shine. Should Rodgers play at an MVP level for the next 3 years, then at some point, yes, the Packers would look to trade him - but only because it benefits THEM, not because they owe to him that he gets to play. He's still collecting his first round salary and earning service time for the pension, etc. Not to mention, based on practice reports....he's not ready to play anyways.
  17. Not sure how they'd ever prove it. Schefter is never going to say who the sources were. Unless some texts or emails get out (and I'm guessing there aren't any of those anyways), would be almost impossible to prove. The whole thing is getting weirder by the day. Obviously something is going on, but to what extent? Who knows. It's hard not to think that while Schefter at least thinks something is going on, that he very well may have exaggerated a great deal just to increase ratings on the draft. I haven't seen it, but I'd imagine the first round of the draft (at least the first 2 hours until it became clear he wasn't being traded) was watched very, very heavily. Just a shady thing to do on his part (though I'm sure his employer loved it).
  18. What the NBA does is that you can say "I'll give you my first round pick but only if it falls between these numbers for X amount of years". For example, we get Denver's first round pick if it's in the top 15 within the next 3 years, beyond that we just get the first round pick 4 years down the road". The NBA is usually the opposite where it's protected for higher picks "you don't get our pick if it's in the top 5". But you get the idea. As far as I'm aware, the NFL doesn't allow this. You can do conditional trades based on performance, but based upon where your draft pick happens to fall (I think at least).
  19. The thing with the Broncos trade (or any team for that matter) is that their first round picks will (presumably) be pretty low in the first round, assuming Rodgers stays healthy. So even though it's 2-3 first round picks, the value of those picks isn't that great if it's in the low 20's. Not saying it wouldn't happen or the Broncos couldn't include Surtain as part of the deal, but draft night would have made a lot more sense. Though I'd have to believe if the Packers really thought that was going to happen, they wouldn't have drafted Stokes as well (though who knows?). I also don't love getting a QB back. If we trade Rodgers, I'd hope we'd be ready for Love to play. Sign a veteran to back him up/learn from if you want, but I'd rather get another player back in the trade than a QB. All that said...I still believe that cooler heads prevail and that they work this out. Rodgers wants to win, he wants his ego stroked and this was a power play to get the bigger extension that he wants. If he wants to win, this is probably his best shot (maybe Denver is close, but who knows what they give up?). There's no other team that's ready to win but is just missing a QB.
  20. Right? Like if they legit had a source with info, they would have screamed to the highest levels so they'd get all the credit and whatnot if it turned out to be true. They all just sat on a huge piece of news like that all this time, just so they could confirm Schefter? Right....
  21. Well said. This is my take on the situation as well.
  22. This is exceptionally hard to believe. They know what the cap hit is. They spent all off season bringing back all of their team from last year to make another run at it - I don't think they did this thinking they'll have Love starting at QB. I’m with you there. Money was pushed out to extend this team’s window. Plus, Aaron Jones received a second contract that defied conventional wisdom and cost them a future comp pick. It could be that they never talked to Aaron until they made all those moves. I mean...that's possible, yes. The incompetency of that would be completely mind-blowing.

  24. Been watching a lot of them this year (the gf is super into volleyball). Last night was easily the worst I've seen them play all year. Some of that was due to Florida's athleticism and playing super well. But man did Wisconsin make just a ton of unforced errors (serves into the net, miscommunication, mishits on spikes that went long). Yet...still found a way to walk away with the win. Given their talent, anything short of a title this year would be highly disappointing. Let's hope they bring their A game against Texas!
  25. THANK YOU!!! Wow, they could have probably labeled that better. That or I'm just a moron (probably). Appreciate the assist.
