  1. Has anyone actually been able to buy any? I've been trying for well over an hour, keep getting an error message that tells me it's an exclusive sale and to try back in 2 minutes. I've gotten it on the select ticket screens, eventually I got some and keep getting it on the purchase screen. Tried to call and email the brewers and have heard nothing back. Needless to say I'm frustrated.
  2. I still don't understand now allowing them to be sold on StubHub. I'm planning to buy some (and not sell them) but isn't it within my rights to do so? I paid for season tickets all year long, I can sell ANY of those games on stubhub, hell, I can sell ALL of them on StubHub if I felt inclined to do so. I understand they don't want people to profit off of it or let opposing fans in, but still, I think it's wrong for them to revoke access to them. As others have said, people get sick, people have emergencies, people suddenly can't make it...are they just supposed to be out the money or try to sell them without the use of the most popular ticket market? I just think it's wrong. All that said, I have no plans to sell, lol.
  3. I think he’s figuring on Saladino moving towards the mean. He’s not THAT bad a hitter. Are you sure? He's a career .228/.277/.328 hitter. Gross.

    13-0

THIS. I don't understand why/how this became a "girls vs guys" issue. NOBODY brought that up except the coaches and players. Just seemed completely unwarranted to start saying things like "if this was the men's team, nobody would care". I have no problem with them winning 13-0, goal differential matters. That's all there is to it.
  5. Have they just totally scraped the idea of Braun at first? Last year it made sense since Jesus was so hot, but given the fact that he's awful now, why not Braun there against a lefty? Gamel has been better against lefties or put Perez at first or in OF (if you deem Braun is a better 1b). Just an option. Jesus has to be running out of chances. Isn't it about time he has "sore arm" or something so he can go down for awhile?
  6. And Huira gets optioned back down, presumably to make room for Shaw. Count me in on the large amount of Twitter fans that are not happy about this one. My initial reaction would include a lot of words I'd probably get banned for saying so I'll refrain. But I HATE this move. Shaw was terrible on his rehab assignment, Huira has been hammering the ball for the past week or so. Just....why?
  7. The non charge call in 2OT that fouls Giannis out was one of those moments too. But the Bucks just looked lost and lazy on both ends. Doesn’t make much sense with so much on the line. Gotta hope this serves as a wake up call or that might be it. If you take out game 2, it feels like the Bucks have been down 6-10 points basically every minute of the other 3 games. Hard to play from behind constantly. Games 3 and 4, we cut it to 4, then have a brain fart and give up a breakaway or miss open shots, Raptors hit another finely three (they can’t seem to miss at big moments) and it’s back to 10. Frustrating. I know a lot of looks have been open, but at some point Lowry and Powell have to come back down to earth. Lowry in particular...35% on the season, 25% against the Sixers...is 17-31 so far this series behind the arc. It also probably didn’t matter tonight, but it certainly did in game 3...the difference at the FT line is killing them. Raptors are 45-53 the last two games...bucks are 39-59. That’s a lot of points to leave on the floor. Raptors making more than they should percentage wise, Bucks way less. That stuff adds up in a hurry.
  8. I'm with you on this one...I joined back in late high school (it was brewerfan.com back then) and then in college, I worked an early morning shift in the computer lab and spent a majority of my time reading on drafts and minor league box scores for the likes of Prince, TGJ, etc. I suddenly feel old....
  9. I don't completely disagree with this...IF you can force the shots to be taken by below average to average shooters. If they're coming from guys like Danny Green and Lowry, that's when it becomes a problem. It'll be interesting how that works out if they play the Warriors, as that strategy wouldn't seem to make a lot of sense...almost everyone they have can shoot the 3
  10. There are also lots of bars in the area that have shuttles. I usually ride one of those. This feels like a big one tonight....can't come out flat like they did against Boston. Be really nice to get the series off on the right foot with a win. As others have said, I know it's not how the Bucks typically defend, but I hope that whover is on Green sticks to him and doesn't help. He can't do much else but Green can kill us from the three point line. I feel good about the series, but feel like game 1 is highly important. Toronto could have a bit of a down game coming off an emotional high from game 7 (Portland did). We can hope so at least.
  11. That doesn't mean we shouldn't be excited about him. We've been hearing about how great a hitter he's been for a couple of years now, he dominated the AFL and is tearing up AAA. Could he struggle? Sure. Could he also come up and rake? Sure. It's ok to be excited about the top prospect (and arguably the top one the Brewers have had in several years) getting called up. Given how awful Shaw and Aguilar has been, he wouldn't have to be very good to be a marked improvement.
  12. I'm a tad incredulous that he took it, lol. I mean...thanks!! But what are you looking for up there? Fastball right down the middle...
  13. They are visiting Virginia this Thursday/Friday. Seems odd to travel that far to visit a school that isn't an option. By the sounds of it MSU only has 1 open scholarship, so they would either need to dump someone or keep 1 of the brothers off scholarship for a year. I hope you are right that WI is the likely destination, but I'm not getting too excited about it until they sign. I think it is one of those things where you do your due diligence and see what is out there/having fun being blessed with such an opportunity. From what I have heard they had a plan before leaving, at least pretty sure what they were doing. Kind of a “Well if someone wows us” we will go there instead. But really Wisconsin makes all the sense. Unless they suddenly get their heart set on a championship (cause sorry it will not happen in Wisconsin) I don’t really see any way to sway them outside of Wisconsin. They can be Wisconsin. That bodes well for Sam’s ego and Joey wanted to be at Wisconsin in the first place. If the Hausers go there and IF the Badgers can somehow land Jalen Johnson (BIG if obviously). But with those 3...Ruevers, King and Davidson senior years, it's not THAT impossible that the Badgers could compete for a title. I doubt they get Johnson and I'm not convinced the Hausers are going there, but that first year would be a pretty good team I think.
  14. I don't see anything in that article that would shake up chemistry? Some good quotes from teammates in there about both how he handled everything and how he earned playing time this year.
  15. I find it somewhat odd that DJ Wilson can't get even a few minutes. Good defender, big body. Seems like he could have been useful in trying to slowdown Morris, even in small spurts. I know the bench tends to shrink in the playoffs, but he's only played in total garbage time so far. I'll be there tonight. I feel like the fans think this series is already over, which makes me a little nervous. Hopefully the Bucks players aren't feeling overconfident. I'd really love for the Bucks to lock it up tonight and not have to go back to Boston.
  16. I dropped him from one of mine today too...so you're welcome folks!
  17. The NBA season is just too long. It starts late October and goes until mid to late June. Throw in training camp (plus Olympics, World Championships, etc) and it just never really ends. There is ZERO reason to have 2-3 days off in a series. Maybe the finals if you're worried about time zones (think LA vs Boston for example) but it's just getting silly IMO.
  18. Is it primarily Chinese food? What type of stuff is on the buffet?
  19. Hello BF, After about 2 decades of getting together at my mom's house for Mother's Day dinner, my mom randomly decided this year that she wants me to take her out for brunch instead. Didn't think it was a big deal, but as I started to look around, I realized that not only is it very popular, that many places are already basically full. Doesn't help that we have a group of 8 people either. Does anyone have any suggestions on places in the Milwaukee/Waukesha area that have a solid brunch for Mothers Day (preferably a buffet, that's what she wants) that might still have room or be worth exploring? I tried Saz's, that was her first choice but they have no room. Again...8 people, ideally a buffet. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
  20. Joey could apply for another year given the circumstances - only 1 semester redshirting, transferring, etc. The NCAA may not approve it, but I've given up figuring out their decisions.
  21. Does anyone else have a full season ticket strip? If so...can you see your playoff tickets and/or invoice yet? I know for a fact that I confirmed I wanted playoff tickets....but I haven't been charged anything yet, nor can I see the seats in my ticket account (just the seats for tomorrow show up). Seems a tad strange and alarming given that the playoffs start this weekend and the Bucks will be at home....ugh.
  22. Well that would make sense...we couldn't hit him either. But hey, at least we'll get to see Cahill in a Brewers uniform next year...
  23. Frustrating game to watch. Angels with a total of 3 hits, two of them just happen to leave the yard (by two guys with very little power no less). Brewers offense on the other hand leaving a lot to be desired these past few innings. As others have said, taking a lot of hittable pitches and swinging at stuff way out of the zone. Shaw and Aguilar need to get it going - no power OR average from either one. Kinda killing the middle of the order. Still a few cracks yet here, let's hope they get it going when Cahill comes out .
  24. I like the late night starts in that it allows me to do all my normal stuff (take kids to soccer, scouts, etc.) without missing anything. I will however hate when we get a 4 hour game that I'll wind up staying up until 1-2 am to watch (stupid FOMO!!)
  25. What are you looking for? Like a new rep for you as a SSH? Someone for group tickets? Single game tickets?
