  1. That's the easiest first down the Bears will pick up tonight. Trips left, two defenders.
  2. Joe Barry defense burns Carolina. After years (maybe decades) of evidence that soft zone defense prevents you from winning the game, NFL teams still continue to use it. Any DC still playing prevent defense in 2026 should be arrested.
  3. And the second after I post this, it looks like the two teams switched uniforms during the commercial break.
  4. The way the Panthers are playing now, I don't think it really matters anyway.
  5. I'm not going to look it up, but I'd bet dollars to donuts that they were in Rams territory all three times. Agree to disagree. I'll just leave it at that.
  6. That's a strawman argument. What was the reward for going for it two minutes into the game in your own territory? You're still on your own side of the field 55 yards away from the end zone and according to you, double digit underdogs need to be more aggressive and can't settle for field goals. If they're on the Rams 40 or closer, I could understand. from your own 45 is just reckless when there's 58 minutes left in the game.
  7. It was also two minutes into the game.
  8. And three and a half minutes into the game, the Rams are three points away from a double digit lead.
  9. Yeah, I like the new more aggressive NFL, but there's a fine line between being aggressive and being reckless.
  10. And once again, being overly aggressive on fourth down in your own territory burns the Panthers.
  11. All longevity stats. Do you think Flacco is a Hall of Fame quarterback?
  12. Maybe we can bring him in next year to back up Love.
  13. You can't put too much stock in a schedule for the following season. Our third place schedule netted us Denver and Carolina this year. But it's still fun to see.
  14. Raheem Morris reportedly fired by Atlanta.
  15. What makes it even funnier is the Falcons were eliminated from playoff contention a month ago and still finished tied for first place.
  16. I don't understand why Siriani was content to go into the playoffs as the #3 seed.
  17. He has about as much clock awareness as MLF too. They keep insisting on stopping the clock on this drive with running out of bounds and incomplete passes when it would behoove them to run the ball and make the Bears burn time outs. Now they are probably going to lose this game.
  18. Yes, he does but you can't blame him for that sack. He's not responsible for picking up the safety. Tune needs to look for that and obviously he didn't.
  19. Yes and yes.
  20. Call my 1-800 number for winning lottery numbers.
  21. Before you call the #5 seed lucky, the last two teams to qualify for the playoffs despite a losing record won their first round games (2010 Seahawks, 2014 Panthers) and the Eagles are resting many of their starters today too so I don't think they want any part of the Packers.
