Was it a hot take when we said the offense needed to pick it up last September?

You and others still think this is just a Dodgers issue. Right now, we're at best the third best team in the NL. How do we even get past the Braves and Phillies in October? And I disagree about this being the funnest team to watch since the 80's. The Braun/Fielder era teams in the late 2000's/early 2010s were way more fun to watch. Those teams would destroy this team.

Oh, they'll still make the playoffs, but that's about it.

A week ago, I said the Dodgers and Braves would surely beat us in the playoffs. I think we can add the Phillies to the list.

Anybody who is still in denial about the holes in this roster just because of their record and thinks we'll be just fine come October needs a reality check. Unless MLB lets every team qualify for the playoffs within the next three months, we're not making a deep playoff run with the roster we have now.

This team could easily be in second place by the All Star break. Maybe even third.
