I'm becoming more and more disinterested with college sports, especially football. First it's athletes transferring left and right, then massive conference realignment, countless bowl games that nobody cares about, and now this CFP bs. The regular season needs to mean something. You think you're one of the best four teams in the nation? Then why did you lose to so and so back in September?

I wasn't familiar with him but in light of some of the things I've seen about him lately, namely trying to call plays during the game, I completely understand now.

I saw that. What is it with the Steelers all of the sudden with diva wide receivers? This coming off the heels of a heated argument with Fitzpatrick in the locker room last week after Johnson lambasted the coaches all the way back to the locker room after the game.

So the Steelers gain 400+ yards of offense for the first time in 59 games. Yes, firing your coordinator midseason can make a difference.

Which is completely ludicrous anyway because no matter how many teams you put in the playoff, the first one or two teams out (or is it last?) will always complain they should've made it and the NCAA will keep on expanding. I think most people know how I feel about expanding playoffs in any sport. It rewards mediocrity and waters down the whole thing.

Yeah, it pretty much shows you the sad state of college football when you don't have enough teams with winning records to fill out a bowl schedule, which also could've been avoided by not adding 7000 more bowl games to begin with. Welcome to the participation trophy age.

Nice hold. I thought for sure Minnesota was going to drive right down the field. I still wouldn't be surprised if this game ends up tied before it's over, but that was a huge stop, but maybe that was more Minnesota shooting themselves in the foot with that dropped pass.

I don't care what happened before or what happens next. As long as Wisconsin defeats Fleck and the Gophers tonight, I'll be happy with the season.
