    You hate to jump to conclusions after nine games, but the Griffin hire is starting to look like a major gaffe. They haven't even been competitive in most of their losses, and to significantly inferior teams. Then barely squeaking by Detroit. Meanwhile, Nick Nurse hasn't lost a game since opening night to the Bucks. I don't expect him to get fired anytime soon but if things continue the way they are he won't make it past this season, if not the All Star break.

    OK, that was a terrible call by Fickell to punt with 14 seconds left. Inexcusable. Probably the worst half of Badger football I've seen since the pre-Alvarez era.

    Yes. Rumors from Chicago sports radio is that the Cubs are going to be one of the most active buyers during the off season, maybe even the most active.

    And he didn't want to manage a team who's owner only spends money on over the hill retreads to one year contracts and instead manage a team that will spend big money to put a real championship contender on the field.

    He had no less than three interviews with teams and chose to leave. Obviously he didn't want to be here anymore for reasons only known to him and the Brewers organization.

    These two teams are laughably bad. You have to be a diehard football fan to watch this game if you have no rooting interest in it.

    Why do teams still try the "try to draw the defense offside on 4th down" play? It never works. Then again, the way things are going today, it might've worked.
