  1. And I would suspect the same will happen this year as well despite the organization's lip service of being serious about winning a World Series.
  2. Whether it's three runs or three hundred, it still translates to 0-2.
  3. Statistics, and especially advanced stats like XYZf123 or whatever, give a false illusion of indisputable, scientific proof, allowing people like you and your ilk to present manipulated facts in a way that deceives people more convincingly than a simple lie ever could. I'd actually take a supposed antiquated stat like ERA over XYZf123 any day, which the Braves have a lower one over us. And right on cue, our supposed way better pitching loses us the game.
  4. Oh, I see. You're one of those guys that likes to use advanced stats to make things say anything you want them to say. As the old saying goes, there are three kinds of lies. Lies, damned lies, and statistics. Even if our pitching was better, it's certainly not wayyyy better like you said it was. I'll just go by the tried and true eye test. Unless the Brewers plan on using a two man rotation in October, I'll take the Braves pitching staff over ours every time.
  5. We've only scored 16 more runs than them coming into this game. As for the pitching remark, I'm not even going to justify that with a response.
  6. It's the seventh inning stretch already? This game is moving along quite quickly.
  7. Because both of the Braves and Dodgers are clearly more complete teams than us and don't have as many holes as we do to for us to win a best of five, much less a best of seven. This isn't hard.
  8. In the literal sense, yes, but don't act like you don't know what I mean.
  9. I'd be shocked if the Dodgers and Braves didn't face off in the NLCS this year. Our team as constructed now can't compete in October with these two teams. It's them two and everyone else in the NL.
  10. Well, they knocked Sale out of the game at least.
  11. Murphy will have two surgeries done within the next few weeks, including this coming Thursday. Brewers skipper Murphy announces plans for hip, back surgeries - ESPN Don't worry though, the last time we had a manager that had difficulty walking, we went to the World Series.
  12. In that he is a lefty with more than four games of MLB experience.
  13. As long as the team is just good enough to put asses in the seats....
  14. Hard to see Miz coming back out unless we hang a crooked number this inning.
  15. It takes a special kind of incompetence to squander a scoring opportunity like that.
  16. How can this team be so incredibly bad at the ABS challenge system? Maybe they feel the pitches are not close enough to the K zone.
  17. Yelich got fooled on that pitch. Otherwise, that would've been a clean 4-3 putout.
  18. I don't think Toronto will be returning to the World Series this year.
  19. I'm sure the team is saving them for Sanchez to use when he pinch hits.
