He had a bad one week stretch after dominating the first three months of the season and being the best reliever in baseball for three years. You don't bail on someone like that because of a hiccup. -

I don't know why anyone would think bringing up top prospects would do wonders. They brought up Small and he did nothing.

Because their playoff hopes are over if they're down 2.5 games halfway through August? A win tomorrow puts them 1.5 games behind. Granted I don't believe they'll do much if they make the playoffs, but to say the season's over if they lose tonight is hyperbolic.
