    Curt Hogg mentioned that the Brewers said if Contreras goes to the IL it's for season ending surgery. Definitely an OK backup plan if Contreras gets worse. Jansen also has an .840 OPS vs lefties. So it's not the worst move and all they did was give up a guy that by the sounds of it the Brewers were getting frustrated with his swing selection and he wasn't making the necessary changes.

    I was telling my buddies last week once Yeli went on the IL, that if it wasn't for Turang and Ortiz being on a cold spell, Chourio could replace him in the 3 hole with the way he's hitting no problem. Turang/Ortiz, Contreras, Chourio, Hoskins, Adames, 6, 7, 8, Ortiz/Turang.

    Was at the game today. I was actually a little surprised at how many Sox fans there were since they suck so bad. I heard on the radio on the way home it was bad last night as well. I definitely sounded like it was only 60/40 Brewers fans, maybe even less than that.

    I dunno, he seemed to be do pretty well when he came back. I doubt he could have pitched at that level with such a injury lingering.
