I have a bad feeling about today's game. Sheets hasnt been inspiring this year much past his opening day start.

Probably the thing I like the most about Suppan is that he knows how to win.

Powell just said that last night had the game gone to 15 innings Gross would have pitched and Dave Bush would have played RF. Crazy.

Since we have little depth behind Prince and too many OF he should be moved back to 1b in case of a Prince injury.

A hit, at least we dont have to worry about being no hit.

Why cant we just give ourselves a chance vs. Chicago?

What the hell is going on out there?

    Aquino?

    Aquino? ...Really?

Katin is the exact type of fringe player that would use. Not to say that he is guilty, but it make sense, and I wouldnt fault him for it. I mean, you had to think that at his age coming into this season he had to either show something serious or he might be done.

Is that an earned run for Sheets?
  13. RyDogg66
    So Mench is hitting .415...
  14. RyDogg66
..and the defense still sucks. Those are both hits, but are both a result of really bad defense.

Are all three of those bands coming together to form one band and play all three band's songs? I mean, how many of the guys from those bands are still in the bands or even alive? I'm sure they'll draw well, but that's pretty weak.

Just to share a story, when the Brewers auctioned off the jerseys they wore on the last day of 2005 my dad won (bought) the Lyle Overbay jersey. Pretty sweet, I think he got it for less than normal because everyone knew it was Overbay's last day as a Brewer.

I'll take less than $60 if I have to, its negotiable.

I have two tickets field level in section 118 (or 117 I can't remember) about 15-17 rows back. The tickets are currently not in front of me and I cannot remember the exact location. I do know that they are in the middle of the isle. I also have a preferred parking pass. I cant go to the game on Friday night and I need to sell them. I'll sell both tickets and the parking pass ($15 dollar value) for $60.00. I think the tickets are $35.00 each face value. I live in the Milwaukee area and work near Mayfair Mall. If you are interested PM me and we can work something out. I would also like to get one of the Cooper Bobbleheads in return as part of the deal. Thanks.

By right now I meant to ignore "potential" and rank on current ability. I cant see Hall being the worst player on that list.
  20. RyDogg66
Based on OFFENSIVE ability right now only, rank these 6 players Weeks Fielder Hall Eckstein Rolen Duncan go.

So building your team around gold glove defense, and playing nickel and dime type of offense leads you the World Series? Where do I sign up?
  22. RyDogg66
Sorry Ender, I didnt join in the Fire Yost for starting Counsell argument. However, Graffanino isnt the problem, the entire team sucks on defense, they always have. And how do we explain the mental errors on the base paths? And why do the Cardinals always seem to NOT have those problems? Well, for starters they have a HOF coach.
  23. RyDogg66
That's where coaching comes in, in my mind. I dont think Yost should be fired for this in-game managing decisions. I am starting to think that he should be fired because the team is made up of mental midgets and I think that is reflection on Yost. Ever since he came to Milwaukee this team has been poor with RISP, made a lot of errors, physical and mental and have had TERRIBLE base running habits. All of that I think is a reflection on the coaching staff.

I gotta wonder if Sheets is fully healthy. His K rate is way down this year and he has given up quite a few HRs already this year. I hate the Cardinals almost as much as the Cubs.
  25. RyDogg66
Sheets is my favorite player and I defend him all the time... ...but maybe he should learn how to get Pujols out. I mean, Albert owns Sheets like Sheets is a AA pitcher.
