Actually this team looks more like the one from the 2nd half of 2004, when they were historically bad for a team that entered the All Star break with a winning record. This could get ugly. Too bad Gallardo cant play the outfield.
So that is 6 in a row with Smoltz and Hudson staring us down?? This is almost becoming humorous. If/When we fall back under .500 we'll be the laughing stock of the league. They'll be running stories left and right about what a joke the team is and how they fooled everyone. For the next 10 years it will be this team that is brought up whenever anyone gets off to a hot start. I can see it now... Baseball Tonight, May 3rd, 2015: Kruk says "This Pirates team is off to a great start and the they are 21-9, but remember back in '07 a similar looking Milwaukee Brewers team started 24-10 and they ended up finishing third in a bad NL Central. so lets not jump to conclusions, I still pick the Astros to win the Central."
I remember turning 21 and getting ready to go to sleep at about 11:00. I wasnt reallly interested in going out that night. Next thing I knew it was 2:30 and I was having some trouble keeping my food down. Yikes. Good luck, be responsible.
Wow, the Padres get a key 2 out hit with a runner on third and two out, and we get a strike out from Weeks with a runner on 3rd and one out. Pick him up Brauny.
Thank you BobSkube for repeating yourself for the 1,000 time about how much Hall sucks. We've got you down with Hauser and Mikerollins in the "hall sucks camp", dont worry.

Yeah Russ. One of the things that bothered me was the part where BEn pleads with Jack to not use that phone....or everyone will die....but gives Jack NO reason why everyone would die. Dont you think that if you were going to "talk them out of NOT leaving" that you would do a better job of explaing to them why they shouldnt??? That irritated me. And then at the end when they are making the call, Ben pulls the same stunt. Maybe I am asking too much of my TV characters these days, but for cripes sake, explain to Jack why you want him to stay, dont just make him do it on blind faith after the history between Jack and Ben.
Just because Broxton is the best 8th inning guy in the league doesnt mean saito is one of the best 9th inning guys. Saito just seems like an average closer to me.
I read spoilers so I knew what was going to happen. It was a very good season finale and even though I knew what was happening before it happened it has rekindled my interest in the show. The best thing that seems to have happened to the show was the announcing of the series end after 48 more episodes.
Great work Brett! He hurt his wrist again????!!!!! Take it easy (tiger)! Can't wait for the new disc. Ive been purposely holding off on listening to some live shows I have until Easy Tiger comes out. Im bummed they backed it up to 6/26 though. And Brett, shame on you and me for not keeping the old thread on the first page at all times. I vow to make a better effort this time around. Im sure with the new disc set to hit stores in a month that is should be easier.
Wow, that joke went over everyone's head. I just want every player in Atlanta to have the last name Williams. If that means they get Mo Williams, Marvin Williams, Sheldon Williams, Jason Williams, Jayson Williams and Jay Williams, so be it.
We should trade Atlanta Mo Williams, see if we can get Jayson Williams out of retirement, or prison, wherever he is now. Mo Williams, Sheldon Williams and Marvin Williams. Nice!
