  1. Oh man my apologies Mr. Fantasy Expert. If your expectations were for Cruz to be a Top 10 fantasy shortstop then my goodness it absolutely was just on you for totally unrealistic expectations.
  2. I'm asking what were you expecting? He's striking out and walking around the same level as his career. Similar power output as the rest of his career. Stealing more bases than ever before. Seems like you're blaming a player for your bad fantasy GM'ing. Adames is a way better SS than Cruz, so not at all surprising that he'd be higher ranked. Also if we want to get very technical, before you even mentioned fantasy you said he's been awful offensively this year which +12.1 above average offense according to fangraphs would like to push back on.
  3. What were you expecting from him that he's been a huge disappointment considering he's having a career year.
  4. He has a 115 wRC+. How exactly is that garbag?
  5. Manuel Rodriguez is Top 30 on Baseball America
  6. Is Tyler Black broken? Back to back 3 strikeout games and 7 strikeouts in his first 13 PA since returning to AAA.
  7. So you're saying he didn't strike out the side? (Yes I am that guy)
  8. Stick Chourio's butt on the bench after that BS.
  9. That was some filthy stuff after he settled in.
  10. Hack Bucknor gifts Estes another strike to open the 5th.
  11. 2-2 inning over if Bucknor wasn't a total hack.
  12. Honestly the only surprising thing here is Montas looking really good since he got to Milwaukee. Wiemer's hot month was filled with ridiculous batted ball luck and an unsustainable BB:K rate. Although 14 wRC+ is crazy low. Junis seemed like a ticking timebomb with how many breaking balls he hung every outing.
  13. Just an FYI on how Ashby has looked out of the bullpen lately. Aaron Ashby since 8/10 6.2 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 14 SO .085 xBA .089 xSLG .105 xwOBA 74 Average EV 0% hard hit rate 0% barrel rate 61% K-rate 4% BB-rate 48% whiff rate
  14. Hedbert Perez with 108 EV rocket HR to right field. He's had a really nice start coming off the IL.
  15. Not just that but he will also be catching his own AB...kind of. The game ended with Jansen at the plate for Toronto. Obviously he will be pinch hit for, but still kind of funny to be catching the AB that you started as a hitter.
  16. Heavy splitter usage though so we know this would have never happened in Milwaukee.
  17. Backdoor cutter that leaked over the heart of the plate.
  18. I mean sure if the roster requires Chourio to move to CF then absolutely do it, but that's not the roster the Brewers have. I don't think moving Chourio to CF so he can accrue more WAR is very important to the Brewers.
  19. I'd still keep him in the corners for the time being. I think eventually you can move him to CF, but why put that extra burden on him when you have multiple plus CF also on the roster.
  20. Chourio is 14th in the MLB in fWAR since June 1st at 2.7. That's 6-7 fWAR pace over a full season.
  21. Burnes has a 2.84 career playoff ERA, so yeah losing an arm like him absolutely hurts a playoff rotation. Weird comment to go after from 3 months ago
  22. I mean it was certainly excessive. 29 pitches and 25 were fastballs with 1 of the 4 breaking balls being one that Civale called on his pitchcom device lol
  23. Watching the game tonight and man I really can't help but feel how this Brewers team would have a huge advantage playing all their home games at a park with dimensions like Oakland. Huge alleys for our speed guys to get XBH and big foul territories for our corner OF who are all really CF to range deep into foul territory to make catches more corner OF wouldn't dream of. Edit: Like in all honesty, I feel like AmFam might be one of the worst parks in the league for the roster the Brewers have.
  24. Watching Sears just makes me miss Gasser. Very similar pitchers.
