  1. Monday 2/2: Via the Wisconsin Sports Radio Network's "Inside Wisconsin Sports with Trevor and Josh": Tim Allen Via David Gasper's "Brewers Daily" YouTube page: "Eugenio Suarez to Reds on $15MM deal" Locked on Brewers with Chuck Freimund - "Brewers Overlook Eugenio Suarez — Should He Be in the Lineup Today?" Via the "Brewers Babes" Podcast: "In this episode the Babes react to the Freddy trade, why the the Brewers do business the way they do, what Freddy meant to us, and what to expect from the new prospects. We discuss team spending, game broadcast rights, arbitration, and more reasons - aside from the usual - to hate the Dodgers." *** Tuesday 2/3: Via WTMJ's Morning News (download link): "Despite what the Groundhog says, Spring is almost here and Spring Training starts in just 3 weeks! To prep us for the season, Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger joins the show. We quickly discuss the change to Brewers streaming with MLB opening up streaming rights to cable and local markets streaming their own product. What does that mean for Brewers fans locally?"
  2. Sunday 2/1: Latest Milwaukee Tailgate Podcast - "On this week's show the guys discussed a couple of minor league signings, the latest PECOTA projections and the impending release of the Fangraphs team projections, some wonderful farm system rankings, colluding to stop the Dodgers and, of course, The Lord of the Rings."
  3. Updated the initial post in this thread containing "Last Trades" with all 29 other organizations: Royals (03/22/25) -- Acquired RHP Cesar Espinal on 04/22/25 as the PTBNL for INF/OF Mark Canha with: Royals (12/14/25) -- Acquired LHP Angel Zerpa in exchange for OF Isaac Collins and RHP Nick Mears Mets (07/21/24) -- Acquired LHP Tyler Jay for RHP TJ Shook with: Mets (01/21/26) -- Acquired SS/CF Jett Williams and RHP Brandon Sproat in exchange for RHP's Freddy Peralta and Tobias Myers
  4. We are starting a 2026 version of our "Injury Updates" thread. This will be pinned to the top of our Minor League Forum. As our source "ARobsBrewCrew" has indicated in the past - "Let me know what players you would like injury updates on, and I will do my best to deliver." Here are reminders about the updates ARob has already provided since the start of 2026 (all separate from our Frank Cairone thread, which is now paused with the most recent update and will stand on its own as a distinct thread.) 1/6: "RHP Jack Hostetler made some throws today for the first time since undergoing Tommy John surgery last summer. He should be on track to return to game action late in the 2026 season, but, of course, that timeline is very fluid at this point." 1/20: "RHP Josh Knoth is now full-go off of the mound and slated for a normal spring training. He is one of the numerous talented hurlers returning from injury in 2026 in what is, objectively, the deepest system of young pitching in the sport." 1/28: "Perhaps one of the most intriguing names to follow going forward, I’m happy to share that RHP Cole Phillips (MiLB Rule 5 selection from Seattle) made his first throws coming back from July 2025 surgery after injuring his flexor during a bullpen session while rehabbing from February 2024 Tommy John surgery (his second TJ). Phillips has yet to make his professional debut after being drafted by the Braves in the 2nd round of the 2022 Draft." *** Occasionally we may see an update from someone other than ARob in this thread. I can report that RHP Chase Costello (last pitched for Biloxi on May 23rd) had Tommy John surgery early fall 2025 and he will be out this entire coming season. He has been rehabbing and doing amazingly well at the training facility in Arizona. Indications are he'll be back and as strong as ever next year.
  5. Friday 1/30: WTMJ's "Brewers Weekly" with Dom Cotroneo - "The Brewers formally introduced Brandon Sproat and Jett Williams to the Milwaukee media this week and Dom shares some of the best clips from that session. This week in Brewers baseball also featured plenty of non-roster invitee news, prospect rankings, and Dom's rant on MLB Network botching their top 100 right now rankings." Via the Wisconsin Sports Radio Network's "Inside Wisconsin Sports with Trevor and Josh": Tim Allen Via David Gasper's "Brewers Daily" YouTube page: "Crew Signs Jacob Waguespack to MILB Deal" Locked on Brewers with Chuck Freimund - "Can Brewers Rely on Christian Yelich to Produce MVP Numbers Again?"
  6. Thursday 1/29: Via the Wisconsin Sports Radio Network's "Inside Wisconsin Sports with Trevor and Josh": Jeff Levering - Brewers talk begins at the 3:00 minute mark Via David Gasper's "Brewers Daily" YouTube page: "Brewers Sign C Reese McGuire to MILB Deal" Locked on Brewers with Chuck Freimund - "Settled? Brewers Roster, Brandon Woodruff Outlook, and Should They Sign a Veteran Arm?" Via the "Inside Wisconsin" Podcast with Trevor Thomas and Dario Melendez: "Brewers new 3rd base coach Matt Erickson (9:00 minute mark) pulled up to Inside Wisconsin with Trevor & Dario like: “Yep… wave ‘em home.” Appleton-born, Brewers alum, Timber Rattlers legend—a cheesehead through & through (probably bleeds ranch and optimism). We talk roots, ball, and the fine art of sending dudes from 2nd like it’s a Kwik Trip run." (YouTube version also available)
