  1. No Levering on FanDuel or TMJ. Is this Jeff’s first series miss in pretty much forever?
  2. So long story short, there was no disrespect shown by the JABO team, and as far as what was seen on FanDuel, it probably was an unintentional oversight by others. Regardless, in deference to Ueck and to all, and to limit this getting any additional traction, closing the thread. But the insights within were appreciated and interesting. Thanks for understanding.
  3. Via the JABO folks: “We were aware the ACLS clinch call wasn’t Ueck’s call (we actually learned that in the process of making the documentary) and never represented that way in the film…we didn’t ID announcers as there were a lot of them throughout the course of the movie, and we occasionally cut back and forth between local and national calls; obviously there were a good amount of Dwayne Mosley calls. Not sure if the ALCS clinch call was used in Ueck’s celebration of life videos shown on FanDuel, but we didn’t create those. We did the in-stadium videos and that call was NOT included in our material. (They did use some of our material for what was shown on air, but we had no editorial control over that.) Hope that helps.”

  6. Thanks Ben, for giving me the weekend off, great job! Like the Brewers, the Link Report Staff is deep!
  7. I have pointed out this thread to the “Just A Bit Outside” producers, who were asked to put together the memorial video packages, and otherwise did a spectacular job. Guessing they may have been under the impression that was Uecker on that call. Personally over the years I always thought the tone of that highlight call was Bob, but that some sort of technical audio issue altered his voice just a bit. Silly assumption. Completely learned something here.
