    They are prospect huggers for sure but if we can get DL Hall, ortiz McDermott and povich then that’s one we have to accept. Thoughts!??

    I feel they can resign him and should offer us a good package after failing on Yamo. Baty, Vasill Tidwell with a ptbnl makes some sense. Thoughts?

    I think Dodgers want Adames as well as Burnes. If we do a quantity trade with them (which I desire) the trade then Burnes and Adames for Frasso Stone Ryan , Martin, Wroblewski. They keep every single bat prospect as well as miller and Sheehan. we get 4,5,9,11,20 for Burnes and Adames. All five starting pitchers and only the top 3 need 40 man rostering. Thoughts??

    That’s actually not horrible given it’s their 3 and 4 prospects in this scenario. But we’d rather have something like 5,6 9,10.

    This would be a bad Burnes pool of players to end up with. IMHO of course .

    Take out Urias insert Ortiz and I’d probably take that deal (and Baltimore probably would too).

    I really want Julien and Lee in a deal and would add from our OF to make it happen. Burnes/Wiemer/Mitchell for Lee and Julien. Perkins becomes the 4th OF or we can easily sign a depth piece.

    My favorite package is a five pack from the dodgers: Using BTV, it works but who knows how accurate that would be to Mil and LAD: But Burnes and Adames for Frasso, Stone, Ryan, Martin, Wroblewski. Five starting pitching prospects, Frasso and Stone can start from day one and Ryan not far behind. Martin and Wroblewski don’t need to be on 40 man roster yet. Dodgers get to fill their SS hole as well and get to keep Sheehan. We’d be getting prospects 4,5,8,10,20 from their mlb top 30. Id do this if we could do something like Peralta and Taylor for Hall and Julien. Love our offense after this deal and love the potential growth of our starters . We’d be set imo.

    From my proposal (Burnes and Adames for Harrison Whisenhunt and Bart) Bart is a throw in so nothing really to see there. They get two guys that help them immensely winning now that they either resign or get 1-2 round picks for walking after a year. Harrison and Whisenhunt should be attainable for the both traded together.

    Id want Whisenhunt for Adames. Add a prospect like Lara from us if need be.

    My best one includes Adames going their way as well (they need a SS and a bat at that). Burnes/Adames for Harrison, Whisenhunt, Bart SF gets the ace they want and can potentially resign with their deep pockets and desirable location. Adames gives them the power bat they seek and the solid glove at Ss as well. We get our ace of the future as well as a likely mid rotation starter in 1-2 years. Bart is as good as we can do for backup catcher and the Giants need to get rid of him after their signing yesterday. thoughts?

    We can add in Adames but need to come away with the starting pitching. Seems Dodgers still likely want Adames too.

    We would need Lee and Julien in any Peralta deal and probably would make any trade contingent on getting at least two starting pitchers for Burnes (something like Sheehan Frasso and Stone for Burnes could enable a Peralta deal for Julien and Lee for instance).

    In a world where this trade could be consummated, I’d be open to taking Green and Manoah for Yelich. I understand the reasons why it won’t happen though.

    Schanuel fits extremely well though that’s only 1/3 enough. Schanuel and Neto for Burnes and Adames would work for me though.

    I think Brooks Lee would have to be part of a Peralta trade (with us getting more). I don’t think our outfielders are enough to get him (maybe Frelick and one of the other two but Frelick straight up wouldn’t work ) And just goofing on btv site for fun and found one I’d do: Lee and Julien for Burnes Turang Wiemer. We keep Frelick and Mitchell and dramatically help our offense next year. Go to Dodgers for an Adames for Frasso swap. Go to Seattle for Woo in a Mitchell plus a lil sum’n trade and let’s roll. Frelick -rf Chourio cf yelich lf contreras - c garver - dH Julien - 2b Santana - 1b hall - ss Black - 3B bench Taylor Perkins monasario Dunn bauers Peralta woo frasso Miley houser (gasser) starting

    The more I think about it, the more I am convinced to trade Mitchell and Wiemer for Julien if given the opportunity. We get the best player in the deal in my opinion and trade two players whose best value is in CF. The BTV site sees this as fair with a slight edge to Julien side fwiw. Would rather have Julien on the IF than more OF depth. Furthermore, I am fine with an OF this year of Yelich-Chourio-Frelick (health permitted this is what it will be anyway) with Taylor the 4 and Perkins the 5. That is a quality grouping. And lastly, I don’t want to be handcuffed in a trade (for Burnes/Adames/whoever). At the moment, obtaining a top OF prospect with our ample trade pieces seems kind of off the table. We get a plethora of “trade for Mayo from Baltimore” posts, but what if we can get Cowser from Baltimore? I’d like to clear the deck a tad in a trade for the best player in the deal that is an infielder with a bat like Julien and to be able to trade for a top OF prospect if said prospect ends up becoming part of the best future deal this winter.

    I’d much rather try do something like Taylor and Mitchell for Julien or even Mitchell and Wiemer for Julien and prospect if possible .

    Also, Schmidt Hampton Warren could work if you’d rather have the immediacy of Schmidt instead of “another” top prospect from the OF.

    I feel New York, who Boras does a lot with, might enter the picture for Burnes after Ohtani goes to the AL east and the Blue Jays. Would Spencer Jones OF (Yanks top prospect on pipeline) , Chase Hampton SP (5) and Will Warren SP (9) be enticing enough to pull the trigger? Jones and Hampton are a year away but big upside while Warren could be ready for a rotation spot this year. Thoughts on this if the Dodgers and Orioles are too light on their offers? Would you consider this deal?

    My “dream” infield solution at this time next year has: 1B) Yelich gets a 1B glove next year not this year 2b) Black ends up most comfortable with the glove here Ss) Turang takes over here after an Adames trade shortly and has a good enough year offensively 3b) Wilken continues his ascent and is ready on opening day unless we manipulate for service time Utility : Montaserio and Dunn
